Called Fontanna Z Zakiem ,its actually known as Monumento Of An Abecedarian ,sculptured in honour of famous German sculpture Viet Stross ( 1450- 1533 ) by sculpture Jan Budzilo ,its a great statue depicting the Abecedarian ( pupil learning the alphabet ) nonchalantly looking over his shoulder, its very photogenic as is the whole of Place Mariacki and well worth a few minutes of your time if you're in the Old Town of Krakow.Written February 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Szczepanski Square is a much underrated square in Krakow overshadowed by Maly Rynek and Rynek Glowny but its no less beautiful, lots of great buildings form this square and there's great pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants around the square and this water feature is a landmark fountain although due to the extreme cold February weather the fountain wasn't in operation, in the warmer months it looks amazing, it's most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate on Szczepanski Square.Written February 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
