    A brilliant experience and a great day trip!
    We wasn’t sure whether to book this day trip originally but seeing so many people recommend it we decided to book and my goodness are we glad we did! It was the best day out of our stay in Krakow. Magda, our tour guide, was great, she was very informative, friendly and very helpful and Damien our driver was excellent as well, they are both a great credit to Thousand Miles. We got to try the local polish cheese and the local liquor which was amazing and added to the experience of visiting Poland. The views are absolutely incredible. If you’re on the fence about booking, don’t be, you won’t be disappointed. It really added to the experience of our holiday and we would recommend to everyone. Thank you, Thousand Miles for a brilliant day.

    A long walk but worth it
    This was a well organised trip from booking, collection, experience, and drop off.
    The guide at the salt mine was very knowledgeable and explained everything. It was a long walk (3hrs) but with a couple of stops where you could buy drinks etc.
    Whilst not applicable to our group, there was even wheelchair access to much, but not all of the experience.
    One of the 'must do' trips.

    A “must visit” experience
    A fantastic and a must do if you are to understand the story behind the man in the film but also the story of Krakow’s experience of occupation in WW2 and in fact the wider impact of WW2 on Poland which was very, very significant. Our guide ( Philip?) was outstanding. Recommended

    We had a great time learning about the Jewish Quarter and Polish food with Magda. The foie was great and her level of knowledge was and explanation of the food was awesome. We don’t normally do the food tours, but we’d do this one again.

    Good but lacking some authenticity
    Let's be clear. This tour is of the museum in the Office Block of Oskar Schindler's Factory. The enamel factory itself no longer exists, but there is an interesting Contemporary Art Gallery on the site of it which is next door to this location.

    The museum has a focus on the experience of Krakow and its residents during the run-up and throughout WWII. It is less about Oskar Schindler himself but you do get to see his office. There's nothing original remaining, but it is well-appointed with similar items and 'repro'.

    The residents of Krakow suffered badly during the Nazi occupation, and clearly the Jews suffered the most, but the museum makes it clear that partisans and those believed to be partisan were also tortured and executed. it's a valuable education.

    One criticism is that this museum is a bit of a victim of its own success. It was frankly too busy, too crowded to stop and consider things properly. We were provided with a guide and headset to hear her commentary in English, but we were whicked through rather speedily due to the amount of visitors. Please take this into consideration. Maybe follow-on with a visit to the Contemporary Art Gallery next door, on the site of the former factory.

    Wonderful tour with amazing guide
    Great tour with a fantastic guide. My three teens were fascinated by the story of Wawel! Our guide shared historic facts but also less known interesting details that kept us captivated!

    Yummy!
    WOW - What an experience! Olga was fabulous! First we started at the local farmer's market - which was such a treat. I suggest spending some time here before or after the class. It is a hidden gem. Then we walked a short distance to her apartment. ADORABLE! It was a quaint environment. Not like other classes where there is 30 people cooking at the same time. There were only 5 of us to it made it so much more enjoyable with lots of discussions about the history and cuisine of Poland. It's a must!

    Interesting tour
    Very interesting and informative tour with Joanna the guide. She gave us lots of information on the history of the Jewish quarter, moving onto the Jewish ghetto and the history there, ending at Schindler’s factory. Also Information on places to eat and dishes to try. Can definitely recommend this tour.

    Amazing, 10/10
    Our tour was absolutely amazing!! Veronica was an absolutely amazing guide, funny and informative on the history of Polish vodka. Definitely would recommend, and we will be going back for the tour again at some point.

    Great way to experience Warsaw
    This tour was just fantastic. Mona was our guide and we enjoyed our time with her in Warsaw immensely. She guided us through the city to try authentic Polish food and provided historical knowledge and insight into current happenings all at once. Mona is lovely. The food was delicious. Highly recommend.

    A nice walking tour of Old Town but not creepy
    While the guide was extremely nice & spoke fantastic English, the tour itself wasn't that creepy. Yes there was the odd story but generally I felt I learned more about Poland & Krakow's general history rather than the darker side of the city. It was however a nice way to spend an evening rather than drinking.

    Authentic Polish food tour
    Tomas (apologies if I have spelt that wrong), was a fantastic tour guide. Imparting so much culture and history about Polish cuisine and the gorgeous city of Krakow. We had a fantastic day sampling classic Polish food we were expecting to try (AKA pierogi) but we’re also introduced to “true Polish food”, with interesting lessons on how the cuisine of Poland has changed alongside the history of Poland. Thank you so much, couldn’t have been more impressed!
