Excellent communication from this tour company throughout the booking process via WhatsApp. A very professionally ran company. They collected me from my apartment and provided a pick up time 24 hours prior. Highly recommend the packed lunch they offered, all fresh and excellent value … roughly £11 … as there are no refreshments places here except vending machines. Lukasz our driver arrived on time, he was friendly and welcoming; while maintaining the right balance for what was a sombre and thought provoking tour. Unfortunately I cannot remember our guides name at Auschwitz and Birkenau … perhaps Lorette I believe. A softly spoken woman who was extremely respectful to the history and delivered her tour with exceptional empathy. Prepare for a long day with lots of walking with large crowds. During the tour I did not feel emotional like a lot of people due to the amount of people there but soon realised that it was so much to comprehend at one time and was a process that hit me afterwards … the scale, the cruelty, the atrocities that occurred … a part of history that should never be forgotten.
