We had so much fun!!!!!! I would highly recommend taking this class with Olga. Anna was a great guide, and imparted her knowledge with skill and great enthusiasm.
The venues and vodkas were really interesting. Lots of interesting history and cultural information.

My friend is vegetarian, so I'd emailed the restaurant beforehand to check there was a vegetarian option, which there was,and they sent me the menu. Both our meals were very nice, much better than you sometimes get at these types of events. The singing and dancing were great, and the dancers got the audience involved, which was fun. The restaurant itself is very traditional in style and interesting to visit. She first led us through a local market where she picked out the fresh ingredients for our pierogi, then we took the tram and finally rode by car to her home. We were elbow-deep in kneading pierogi dough very soon after we arrived, interspersed with the occasional sip of beer. First we made the potato, onion, cheese filling and Anna made sure we knew the technique to seal them so they wouldn't fall apart when steamed, then fried. Our eventual meal of vegetarian and fruit pierogi was delicious. The only complaint we had was that we were dropped off at the open drop-off point when it was raining heavily. A covered drop off point would be good, as would suggestions on how to get to the nearest roof or transportation.
