Our favourite was the chilli chocolate - deeply chocolatey with a kick at the end from the alcohol and chilli. Free Wi-Fi, great list of beers, they also do food, tea and coffee. Friendly staff. Oscar, the mixologist great nephew of Oscar Wilde, mixed a superb and subtle Mezcal cocktail with the smokey booze front and center. My partner, who doesn't prefer an alcohol-forward drink, had a rum-based concoction that was sweet and sour at the same time. She called it one of the most balanced drinks she ever tasted. Trzcina also has a bar you can sit at, rare in Krakow.
The decor is lovely, a West Indies design reflective of the bar's enormous rum collection. Guadeloupe anyone? We were surprised at how dark the place was but found the wonderful outdoor garden which was absolutely huge and covered in lots of bamboo and foliage which shaded us from the sun.
We enjoyed a trips here and loved it, it’s a great place for a quiet drink and chat or book reading and it feels like you’re really in the local area.

Not too big, but not cramped, great DJ with fun music, drink prices were normal (seems like new owners are improving everything!).

It didn't disappoint. The music was great and the beer very nice indeed.
The steps on the way in are steep and a bit awkward. So be careful.
There is a cover charge for the music which is fair.
