Heschim is an excellent driver and is fluent in multiple languages (Berber, English, Spanish, French, Arabic). It’s a very long drive, but we made plenty of stops along the way to Merzouga and it was very informational.
Camp stay was interesting. It can get very cold at night and in the morning, so pack a thermal. Temps were around 35-40 F.
On the last day, there are options to take camel or ATV back for sunrise. We opted for ATV which is an additional charge, but well worth.
Only downside is that the food wasn’t too good. Being in Morocco, we thought the food would have more spices or flavour. The portions were okay. Recommend to bring protein bars or other snacks.
I don’t take many tours, but this one is not to be missed as it’s a unique experience leaving you with a new perspective.
