- CarterWaukesha, WI16 contributionsIt’s impossible to truly convey how similar the San Blas Islands are to paradise – 1000% a must-do. Don’t let anything deter you from this experience, the drivers are great, the people are amazing at hospitality, and anyone would love it! The ability to experience the picturesque island with crystal blue water and super white sand alongside the quite impressive indigenous community is truly priceless and a top experience in Panama. On the islands, you feel a part of their uber-friendly community and the tour operators ensure everyone has the best time throughout the day! - April A8 contributionsThe only reason I didn’t rate this as a 5 is because there was not much of an explanation or discussion about where we were or the indigenous peoples/community we visited. I think this is because our guide didn’t speak much English. - Martin L8 contributionsAmazing experience! We decided to book with Tao Travel 365 as they have the best reputation in Panama for providing great service. And we are glad that we did. We had a last minute change of plans as my friend did not feel well and Tao Travel made it possible to re-schedule. We contacted them after hours and within seconds someone was online to help us. We ended up taking the San Blas tour a few days later and had an amazing day from start to finish. Adrian, the driver was so sweet, telling us about his Kuna grand mother and her traditions and Panama history. The weather in San Blas was perfect, bathing in the warm ocean. The only regret we have is that we did not book a longer stay in San Blas.
