A quick climb up the stairs provides an amazing view of around Albany and the plaque, statue and information gives viewers insight as to what the memorial represents.

Fabulous views of the harbour and beaches below, this fort houses many intersting equipment used during the 1st WW.
On this occasion we were lucky to liaise with a number of the enthusiastic volunteer guides who accompanied us through various sections of the site and gave details of the history from 1893 to date.

Climbing the tower is easy....flat filled in steps spiraling up with a couple of landings....it really is an easy climb and you are rewarded with lovely views of Albany.
Worth the climb as you get a 360 degree view, you can see Stirling ranges, and all around Albany, the islands around.

... lot of history here on the walk up to the lookout, with lots of information boards providing the history of our participation in the first and second boat convoy in our war efforts, and also provides great views.
The Lookout on Mt Adelaide is another site where you can enjoy spectacular views of the ocean and coastline and, in particular, King George Sound.

There's ample parking here, and when I come to visit there's usually quite a few people parked in their cars, enjoying their lunch or a snack, and taking in the waterfront views of the marina and harbour.
This is a really great area to walk and take in the sights of the Albany marina area.

Erected to improve navigation into Princess Royal Harbour, this lighthouse fits well with many monuments and sights along a reasonable walking trail, part of which is jointly share with bicycles.
It is in ruins but I would consider it well preserved ruins with views amazing views.
