We stopped here on the way to the Blue mountains and what a treat it was .
A lovely hotel with friendly efficient and caring staff.
The rooms were very impressive with excellent facilities
The food outlets were perfect for anything from a snack and coffee to a full blown meal.
We would highly recommend this hotel.

This is much smaller and sparser than most regional historical museums. The main section is not at all coherent, instead it's a selection of random items lovingly and expensively presented and they often manage to convey a lot of interesting information. The other sections are all about a church, a speedway and a swimming pool. Worth a look but compare it to Camden to see where it needs to go.

Casula parklands is called parklands for a reason, it’s huge!
A very big park area for children’s and adults of all ages.
Has an infant play area and moves up down the park into diffent age group categories. There is something for everyone here and a very large area for running around or family gatherings and bbq’s if you don’t want to use the park equipment.
This place is a great place to visit with family and friends. Nice hidden space away from everything else. A place to check out next time your looking for something or somewhere to go out for a bit of fresh air. Loved it.

Blessed Nights at Westfield shopping Centre Liverpool Ramadan or Macquarie Mall Liverpool which started at the end of last month.

Great place to try different street food and cuisines in one spot, from middle eastern food to Italian/Croatian etc. The deserts are different story, so many choices to choose from almost anything you can think of, although this event and the one in Haldon Street Lakemba, seem to target Muslims, food is halal, and they start with Ramadan. Check out my photo’s daytime and night time.

Last year, they had over 120, 000 visitors for the event (almost 12 days (Friday to Sunday), while compared with Haldon Street Lakemba 1 million visitors (Daily for the whole month). In my view, it is very similar to the Lakemba event, but much organized and while still busy, it is not as crazy as Lakemba. Check out my photo’s daytime and night time.

Unexpectedly, I was looking for a customized gift for a new baby born and came across this lady where she sells custom design gifts that I have never seen before. Also, saw a man selling beads and some bracelets which is interesting in a street food market. Interesting, at this Blessed Nights Westfield Plaza Liverpool, you come across more variety than Lakemba when you don’t expect it. Check out my photo of the gift and few other things from the lady.

While the famous middle eastern sweets like Konafah (Egyptian spelling 😊) is branded in this event with a different company and people compared to Lakemba. Here they are called Knafeh Vs the lakemba event under Yummy Yummy, the one here in the Westfield Liverpool event is more like an entertainment show, they are playing their music and dancing as they are serving, and sure they are positioned as the largest most strategic stall, centred on one entry right opposite to Westfield shopping Centre.

    Tips:
Use the discount codes available for the custom gifts, this is cheap.
Be prepared to spend $15 or so at each food stall. Food is not cheap.
Try little things from as many stalls as you can, don’t drink until the end.
It is noisy and DJ is on always, Fridays-Sundays, so it is not best for romantic outing with your partner.
The earlier the better if you don’t like crowded places, 9:30 PM to 11:15 PM is the most crowded.
Parking is available, although will take a bit of time, street parking Macquarie Street is better and Westfield shopping centre parking is available, generally parking is much better than the Lakemba event.
Provide feedback with Liverpool council for a chance to win and for further improvement for next year.

A very interesting museum, in a new building. It’s really rare to visit that type,of collection.
The main museum is dedicated to the Australian Military Engineers, sappers while there is another museum in two wooden barracks dedicated to the Military Police.

As the two museums are located inside of a military base, YOU MUST get a clearance 48 to 72h before your planned visit.
Foreigners MUST provide a copy of their passport, and not of a driving license or national ID card. See the Museum web site for the phone and email contacts.

You would need 2-3hrs if you want to visit the two museums.Be aware that it needs « some time » (about 20min) to be cleared for the visit inside the Military base.

You begin the visit by a giant timeline on the wall from 1900 to post Vietnam war.
Then you enter in the Engineer equipment and vehicles area.
Immediately you are enveloped by an oil and grease smell while you are walking through amazing an often giant vehicles.
You realize that the Engineers are most of the time working hard before the battle to prepare the battefield access, during the battle to sustain the logistics and after to repair what has been destroyed.
Then you visit two rooms with little equipment.

Do not skip the visit of the two barracks with the Military Police collection and do not forget to read the MP arrestation diary exposed in the second barrack.

Looking past the adjoining main road, the rubbish around the edges, the locked car park gate (alternative parking on Lookout Rd or an easy walk or bus from Liverpool), this is a reasonably nice place. Views all the way to the distant city skyline, some in other directions but trees blocking most of it, doesn't really matter because it's all flat, and pleasant grass and a roundel in the middle. More a place for locals to hang out.

It's got the generic modern look of the new shopping centres, which is nice, but the insides are much smaller than most and a bit poky. Still, it's got supermarkets and most shops seem reasonably priced. The eat street outside is the best part. A bit weird in that you can't even see an entrance to the centre as you leave the station, so I walked around the back and found a grand entrance with a welcome sign on a small street facing a ridge. It's probably where they'll put the next parking lot. Anyway, this outdoor area is quite nice with a wide variety of food, some generic shopping centre chains but some looking good, and apparently a lot of events.

I've never done Go-Karting in my whole life before today and it has always been something I wanted to do (was on my bucket list). The overall experience was AMAZING however the price did bring it down slightly. Personally I thought $100 was a bit expensive for 3 trips round the course but I'm also a student. Got out the car and straight away heard the go karts and got excited like a 5yr old on Christmas day, the building was clean and tidy, staff were lovely and the overall excitement level was there. I went with just boys who wanted to the 3X 10mins packaged but honestly i would've been perfect with going just twice (i started to feel slightly queasy) but if you don't get sick then go 3 times round!! We were there for about 1.5 hours plus travel either side so was a good half day trip.

Definitely will be saving up and coming back here and doing it again. Thanks for having us :)

Very fun place for the kids, they love it, the food is also better than I expected but they are very under staffed for how busy they get. I didn't see any stuff walking around checking on the kids playing and there was only one woman at the counter taking food orders and taking payment for entry. Long wait just to order food for the kids.

We visited Legends Monday 1st August, a lovely warm day, people were sat outside and no more room to sit there so we went inside, very comfy and pub was playing some real good music so we decided to stay a little bit longer. Thanks to Shona who mentioned that it was happy hour till 5pm so beer was a good price. We will be going there again when we visit Liverpool again.
