- SydneyAsiaTravellerSydney, Australia49 contributionsThe Hunter Valley Gardens was fantastic during the Easter break with awesome dinosaur display and Easter fun fair on site. They had an Easter Egg Hunt held on Easter Sunday great for the children.
All the gardens were immaculately displayed and you can see the attention to detail everywhere in the garden.
This is a gem place to visit for the whole family.Written 23 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Mark FIngleburn, Australia213 contributionsArrived early on a Monday and it was very quiet. This is a wonderful small zoo, though there was plenty to see. The animals looked healthy and well cared for and the kids loved feeding the birds and kangaroos. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.Written 19 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Beat5rixSydneySydney, Australia263 contributionsAustralia is a bit ‘obsessed’ with big sculptures, some are great, others not so.
The big Kookaburra is gorgeous, a real landmark in the midst of Kurri Kurri. You can’t miss it, stop over, relax in the lovely little park and take some photos. It’s worth it!Written 26 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - WhingingPomsMelbourne, Australia83 contributionsOur first visit to this gem of a winery having visited many in the Hunter Valley over the last 7 years. So refreshing to enjoy beautifully made wines that are a little different and not too expensive all in a wonderfully relaxed setting.
We had attentive service from the lovely Julia and her son Harrison who is assistant winemaker to Dan and even met Dan himself. We didn’t have a cheese platter but they looked good and we enjoyed all of the wines presented for tasting, leaving with 4 or 5 bottles of our favourites.
Plenty of room for kids to run around in the paddock and dogs are welcome.
We will definitely be back for another visit.Written 21 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - gantech101Sydney, Australia3 contributionsSunday 1st May did 2 Hunter Wetlands tours with Adam (owner) through a very interesting terrain of amazing wetlands in the suburbs of Newcastle and not all that far from the CBD. I'm amazed that Novocastrians generally know nothing of this hidden little gem. The rides went right past and up close to many native water birds including black swans and their signets that are used to humans, and through a very interesting terrain of bush tracks that are a whole lot better than the boring terrain of some others. After 37 Segway rides all over Australia I feel more than qualified to say that when it comes to tour leaders they don't come any more professional than Adam. I'm very impressed with the way he runs his business and the tours are an exceptional experience with a lot of fun. Keep up the excellent work because this Segwayholic will definitely be back.Written 1 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Ballooning was beautiful. The set up and pull down was very interesting to watch and efficient. The balloon trip was amazing. I was anxious but put at rest by the service and system.Written 11 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- SharinaPPSSydney, Australia102 contributionsHunter Belle is great for a drinker and non-drinker experience to pair wine and cheese or to just eat cheese and crackers! Great assortment of items in shop of cheeses, fudge, ice cream and gifts. We couldn’t leave without getting our favourite cheeses - Ash, Briebelle and Caramelised onion and thyme cheddar.Written 30 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- LB1 contributionThis is a 'must do' activity if visiting the beautiful Hunter Valley. I needed an excuse to do this a second time after experiencing this special day with a friend a year ago. This time I brought my family along and I am so glad I did as it was just as enjoyable! Jen makes the day relaxing and fun. It was so lovely to learn and laugh with my family and friends through this delicious tactile and immersive experience.Written 18 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Suz7 contributionsWe paid $12 for a bucket of balls at the Aqua Golf plus a round of Mini Golf and it was a cheap and fun way to spend a few hours.
Aqua Golf was fun, especially with others - as you cheer each other on, tyring to hit a ball into a basket for a prize.
Putt Putt gardens are a little overgrown in places, and it would be easier to get through with pruning - but not that huge a deal.
The actual course was good for people who want to move through quickly.. (as in not too difficult, so quite good for the novices).
Signage needs to be better placed as it is hidden from the main enterance area.
Staff were all lovely, moving quickly to serve the crowds, with lots of smiles.Written 13 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Happy TravellerTamworth, Australia288 contributionsWow. What a great nights entertainment. The wife and kids have never been to a drive in, they were impressed with the night.
Cheap entry and the popcorn was alright as well.
It was a good family night to enjoy with your kids.
We drove 3hours to experience a drive in. Well worth the drive.Written 10 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
