- Adam K3 contributionsA friend and I were served by Lewis, it was a standard wine tasting. His knowledge of the wines was exemplary, he was quite engaging and we shared a few personal stories together. Due to a great experience and the quality of the wine, I became a member of the wine club that day. Thanks for a wonderful and engaging afternoonWritten 18 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- blinkybill27Australia4 contributionsWe had a wonderful wine tasting experience at Audrey Wilkinson! Our guide Jack was a fun, knowledgeable young man who made the whole experience very interesting and enjoyable. We didn’t feel rushed and nothing was a bother for Jack. Highly recommend booking in for a full tasting experience! 🍷🍷Written 17 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Pandy DSydney, Australia844 contributionsPeterson House - Hunter Valley Winery
Great wine tasting at Peterson House, $10 gives you 5 bubblies to try, and they are flexible enough to add a couple I was interested in, so thank you. Great service and setting, with a beautiful chapel on the grounds.

Elaine and her staff are friendly and accommodating although somewhat stretched with COVID impacting on staff rosters. The menu is good value and the portions are generous. The food is consistently good and the current releases of the house wines are available via glass or bottle.
This was our third visit and we will be back.Written 8 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - sje72_10Sydney, Australia54 contributionsWe went here as it was a short walk from where we were staying and was listed as dog friendly. The wine was great and different to many of the others varieties in the Hunter and we are heading back today with the car to purchase. It was certainly dog friendly with water available for our pooch. What was also great, is that rather than having the crowds all squashed into a cellar door room on a busy Easter weekend, they made the most of the great weather and had tasting stations set up around the winery. It was a great experience with great hospitality. Highly recommend.Written 16 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Darrin O1 contributionHarkham Wines was by far the highlight of our Hunter trip, staff are amazing, super knowledgeable but not pushy with what we ‘should’ be tasting. Love the natural wine philosophy and these are the best we have tried, ever. Certainly will be back.Written 16 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Chris O3 contributionsGreat way to taste some great wines and what a beautiful location. I could've done with a bit more cheese but maybe I'm just greedyWritten 10 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Breadcrumbs27Sydney, Australia14 contributionsWe popped in to buy some wine.
A super friendly, knowledgeable guy helped us.
And even gave us a quick tour of the winery.
If you’re looking for a friendly place to visit, without the pretentiousness, then this is your place.Written 17 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Zac R1 contributionOn a couples weekend to the Hunter, Cockfigher's Ghost was first on our list. Little did we know that it would surpass our expectations of what a wine tasting experience could be. Paddy took us personally through our Premiere wine tasting list and customised it based on our preferences and how we were liking the wines we tasted. He showed us great hospitality and knowledge set looking over the vineyards in a beautiful cellar door. What was above and beyond for me was when I requested to try an off list wine and without hesitation he brought out a bottle. Beautiful wines and best experience compared to every other cellar door we visited.Written 1 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Trudie RWollongong, Australia332 contributionsQuick stop after lovely lunch next door. Very friendly and knowledgeable Maitland local behind the bar. Great to chat to him about the area and reminisce about Maitland and surrounding areas. Family connections also.

How to taste wine, not just drink. Had so much fun and the wines were lovely. Great experienceWritten 16 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Kay C7 contributionsThis was the absolute highlight of our day. Nick was an excellent tasting guide; his enthusiasm for their products was infectious. We tasted lots of yummy drinks but if I had to pick one favourite, it would be their butterscotch schnapps!!!Written 14 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tracy S3 contributionsWe had one of the best wine tasting experiences ever at Tamburlaine! Tom was our host and from start to finish the experience was perfect - Tom was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, had many older museum wines for us to try as well as the current release vintage, and great cheese platters to accompany the wine. We have been members of Tamburlaine wine club for over twenty years, and continue to be very impressed with the customer service at Tamburlaine. We brought friends with us to the wine tasting and they immediately joined the wine club as well! Thanks again for a great tasting experience - we will be back soon!!Written 8 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
