- pam h15 contributionsWe wanted an intimate and authentic introduction to the Maori culture and this was exactly what we got.
From the welcome with their tribal blessings, being taught traditional crafts and songs, to open conversation about subjects from ancestral beginnings to the recently completed 9 day peaceful protest, it was an amazing and humbling experience.
Merv and Rangimarie obviously care deeply about their Maori culture and taking the time to share this with us was something we will treasure.

He was extremely organized and explained each stage of on advance. WE learned very much more about the area than we would have learned from other guides. He has a wealth of knowledge about New Zealand. In fact as we were going on a cruise leaving from Auckland he asked about the ports we were going to visit and proceeded to give us places we should consider visiting.
We travel frequently and Karthic is the engaging, thoughtful and knowledgeable guide we have had over the years. We completely endorse him and highly recommend him to design your itineary. You will be so glad you did.

She was by far the best part of this experience and I wouldn’t want to see the island with anyone else. Tina went above and beyond for everyone in our group and went out of her way to make sure the trip was a memorable time for all involved. There were times during the trip where the circumstances were not ideal (bus breaking down and mix up with hotels) but Tina couldn’t be faulted. Her positive attitude and enthusiasm really showed during these difficult times and brought our little group together and helped us bond.
