The vineyard is a beautiful place with lovely views and an excellent tasting room. We tried a selection of wines and all of them were at least very good. The server we had was courteous and knowledgeable.

We recently visited Harkham Wines on a day trip to the Hunter Valley. All of their products were absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional! The staff went above and beyond to look after us and it was by far our favourite stop of the day! Highly recommend a visit!

Scarborough has always been a joy. It is in an amazing spot with a 360 degree view of wine county with beautiful facilities . Even as it has become more sophisticated it has kept the sense of family that attracted us in the first place. And that is before you get to their fabulous wines . oh and the kangaroos and joeys that came to visit while we tasted ....

Wow - great wines, fabulous ambiance and winemaker discussion with Paddy - and a beautiful estate with views.
Highly recommend- not just for the delicious wines of Cockfighter’s Ghost but the entire experience.
    Could have stayed all day.

The setting is beautiful, inside the winery, and the range of wines is wide, and good quality. Cazz was a terrific hostess, with lots and banter and good advice, and we purchased 2 dozen wines, we were fortunate to get a clearance on the 2015 Cab Sauv, which is very very drinkable.

Stunning setting, beautiful building full of character, friendly, knowledgeable guide truly and justifiably proud of the wines he poured. There was not one wine we didn’t like, and my daughter and I have very different tastes. Natural wines were a revelation! I could’ve happily filled my suitcase. Would have tried the salami and cheeses but was a bit early in the day. So very different from the sister winery experience! Heartily recommend this winery, it’s a gem!

This is a great local winery with a very picturesque setting. We followed a good section of wines available, but equally impressive is their other products. Take the time to Try their spiced sauce range,an old family recipe, or the fresh lemonade aid.

These days you have to book wine tastings but that at least sets out your day. We were into Tintilla first thing and Sophie made us very welcome. They produce single variety wines which has always been my preference. The 2021 semillon was young, zesty and sharp...perfect with oysters. The 2014 was more mature and aging well. Pebbles Brief Chardonnay is a more European type wine but full and rich. The Justine merlot is young, very dry with just a touch of sweetness and very forward tannins. In time it will be good. Of the 2 shiraz we tasted, the reserve was my preference...fruity and smooth with emerging tannins...a nice drop. The Patriarch shiraz will be a great wine in a few years time when it matures. Sophie was an impeccable host, the vineyard is beautiful and well worth a visit.

Fantastic cellar door experience! Amazing service, so warm and friendly. The muscat is the best muscat I’ve ever tasted. Be sure to include this cellar door when visiting the hunter.

Arrived to a pleasant atmosphere with a room of table seating OR Classic Bar style.

Everyone was friendly and comfortable with the wine tasting.

A real classic experience the wines are priced well AND better still if you join the wine club.

    An absolute must.

We will definitely recommend this winery.

A good range of wines at an affordable price. For $3 we were able to taste up to 8 wines and also got a bottle of water and small cheese and biscuits.

They also have a lovely gallery and sculpture garden.
They don't have a wine club, which I enjoyed as it meant the tasting experience was purely about the wines rather than trying to sell you their membership.

    Would recommend.

Tucked away from the crowds in a gorgeous corner of the Hunter, Blueberry Hill is a hidden treasure. In contrast to the big, mass-market wineries, it's a cute blue cottage with a boutique feel and personal service. I'd highly recommend booking, given that it's a smaller spot. Although a large group arrived as we were leaving, I see it as best for a stop for smaller groups of serious wine enthusiasts looking to get away from large crowds.

There are both indoor and outdoor tasting areas. There's a fireplace inside and lots of space outside to enjoy the gorgeous views of the vineyards and mountains. It's a lovely backdrop for a bit of wine appreciation and provides some space if you want to wander or have kids who like to explore the outdoors.

The wines were fantastic and featured plenty of locally-grown gapes. We had a fantastic time with our host, who bought great humour and personality to the tasting. During our visit, we sampled chardonnay, tempranillo rose, shiraz, merlot, cabernet merlot and a couple of sparkling wines. All were excellent, and we walked away with a fair bit to enjoy at home.

Blueberry Hill is a real hidden gem. If you're after a quiet stop with charm to spare, I'd highly recommend a visit (don't forget to book!).
