Visited with my wife, primarily to find a new back pack. What a huge shopping mall, built around the Coops shot tower, with the most amazing atrium and clock. There are many floors of varied shops, restaurants and cafes.

Toured the street with my wife, as part of a side street tour from my guide book. This street is part of a U-shaped walk depicting modern street art on the walls of the buildings and backs of restaurants. The huge murals are very impressive, although it is a shame that some vandals have defaced the art with simple "tags".

This area is a bit nicer than when we came in January of this year. Some new shops here. The cakes are overpriced and donā€™t look the freshest. But a pleasant place to walk. We got some Israeli items from Coles but Woolworths seem to have dropped their kosher section. You can take tram 96 back into town for a fun ride along the faster tracks.

Great street to browse for unique accessories, clothes, art ,(cusack&cusack( sculptures, homewares, fresh produce (Watts Fresh).....the list is long. Give yourself enough time as a couple of hours was not enough.
And then when you need to rest there is a superb range of quality cafes, restaurants, bars - Animus is a must.

Any visit to the wonderful city, is not complete without exploring the laneways, we cheated as we had a map of all the best ones to see, however, with time on your side you could just wing it, seeing these quirky passages.

Premises are very clean and homely. The cake was enjoyable and coffee very good. My Chai was weak, and just lacked that spicy punch. Otherwise good little cafe.

To one side there is the railway station, bus interchange and parking lot and to the other there is Croydon Park. On the street itself there are many shops, cafes, restaurants with just about everything you need. You can see what is there and you do not have to cross a parking site to get to them.
