- Tracey R2 contributionsMy third tour of this amazing place. Interacting with the incredible animals who reside at Edgar's Mission is the most heartwarming experience. I recommend everyone to visit this unique sanctuary and leave with a new outlook on how intelligent and beautiful these animals are. The staff and volunteers who assist in the care of the residents are friendly, knowledgeable and caring people. I will always return to Edgar's Mission as each tour is different from the last. Thank you to our tour guide Emma who made this visit special.Written March 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Like what you would expect from a top restaurant in Melbourne.Certainly the best food in Bright Victoria. Great views while you eat on the balcony and so picturesque.Written March 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tony IBrisbane, Australia22 contributionsBest of All!
First visit back to Bright in 20 years since we moved to Queensland. As young ones we loved going to the trout farm and fishing for dinner. Those fond memories of good old fashioned service, helpful and courteous staff were rekindled on this visit as we introduced our son to this fantastic experience. They are truly wonderful people there who go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Surprisingly there's no admission fee and they cleaned our trout ready for the BBQ.
Prices are cheaper than you can buy in the supermarket and you certainly know it's fresh. Well done guys. I am so happy to sing your praises.Written March 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This is a great place for people of all ages because no-one can resist enjoying patting and feeding the animals.
Our favourite animals were the alpaca's, kangaroos and wallabies. It's such a unique experience to get up close to these animals and interact with them. Special mention to the donkeys and the goats. Watch out for the sheep - I didn't realise they were so assertive.
In addition to the animals, there is a tractor tour (recommended for younger kids), playground activities and mini golf. It takes a good 3 hours to do the place justice.Written January 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Not all of the animals were responsive, but we could go up close and personal to most of them. You could literally touch and smell most of them.
I reckon that 90 minutes are sufficient, but if you love animals, you could juzt hang out there longer.

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Our Wanderings | E&JCambridge, UK87 contributionsWe visited the orchard as part of our day out to the Yarra Valley. The tractor tour pricing includes an hour long tour with all you can eat fruit during the tour. It was a fun way to explore new subtypes of nectarines, plums and peaches and the blood plum was our favourite! The tour itself is a little on the expensive side so I would recommend you make the most of the all you can eat part. We finished the tour with our bellies full of fruit and anything you want to take home is weighed at the end.Written January 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chris FSlaithwaite, UK495 contributionsAn interesting area to wander around … lots of history but not a lot going on. It would probably be best to check what events are on before visiting. We were only on Philip Island for two days, so didn’t have much flexibility.Written February 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
