- Lisa MMackay, Australia8 contributionsMy husband and I experienced the cage of death…..
I was very nervous the day before, when the staff explained the pull and chain system with the tank it put my mind at ease.
Originally planned the cage of death with my daughter however she was only 14 (min age limit is 15) so my husband took her place.
We swam with Kate and Will ( Kate was pregnant didn’t really come near the cage) Will was very active and kept a close eye on us.
Took so many photos and videos, I would suggest to purchase a water proof case.
Amazing experience, I would highly recommend getting up close and personal with these amazing species.Written 20 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lots of active crocs swimming, as well as meerkats, lions and many other animals. We didnt particularly like the breeding pens, but we did the jumping croc cruise, which was a fantastic add on, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable- she absolutely made the experience, and her stories allowed us to appreciate the park rescuing the crocs from causing havoc on cattle farms and the likes. We thought we'd maybe be there 2h but managed to pass 3h30, so allow plenty of time!Written 10 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alyson G6 contributionsThis was awesome, enjoyed the tour way more then I thought I would. The crocodiles swim up to the boat and leap up with such power and their jaws snap shut with an almighty force. - cronessaAdelaide, Australia5 contributionsWhat a fantastic experience and asset for Darwin. We had a fantastic time solving the haunted circus room which was age appropriate for our 10 and 13 year old. Staff were very friendly and professional. We can't wait to go back and try the other rooms.Written 17 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Reby J1 contributionLitchfield Day Tour:
It was a delightful trip to the Litchfield park. Thanks to driver/guide, Merriette(sp). She was knowledgeable and informative about the bush, territory and people. The different types of termite mounds were fascinating and the Wangi, Florence and Buley Rockhole Fall were interesting, albeit crowded. The river cruise was awesome watching the jumping crocodiles so close and at the same time feeling safe and secure within the enclosed boat.
Kakadu Day Tour:
It was a long way to drive so far in one day for just a short visit into the Park and glimpse into the Indigenous Culture. Driver/guide shared his knowledge of the Park and Culture. Ubirr and the view over the wetlands were spectacular and the rock drawings relatively easy to access. The river cruise on the East Alligator River took us along the border to Arnhem Land. The indigenous guide gave us a glimpse into Indigenous Culture.
I will highly recommend Offroad Dreaming! The small group was perfect for a relaxed tour. There were sufficient comfort stops and lunch on both days was delicious.Written 5 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
