4WD a must for the NT. The car got us to where we needed to and gave us a lot of reassurance. The internal fridge a life saver in the hot conditions.

Had a short stay in Darwin, and rented a 200cc scooter from the Scootershop. Fantastic experience! Great service, cool little scooter delivered at my hotel, very reasonable price, and Dazza couldn't have been more helpful. Cheers mate! Mike from the UK.

It is getting a bit hot in Darwin, but we decided to get up early and hire the bikes for 4 hours. We would rather have had a 2 hour option, but in the end, we only returned our bikes 10 minutes early. We bikes around the city. Found some breakfast and bikes some more. We especially loved biking around East point. We were very impressed at Darwin’s friendly biking trails. They were everywhere. If we took a wrong turn, it didn’t matter. We were never without a path.

Highly recommended locally owned family business to anyone looking for a simple and exciting day out to catch the big one 😀

Wayne and Suellen are a legendary team full of experience and knowledge that go above and beyond for their customers to deliver a great and fun experience out on the water!!!

Why buy a boat to use once or twice a year when you can hire one and have a great day out hassle free!!

Only 1 of the listed hotels on the website (copyright 2021) has bikes anymore. The 2 bikes that were at the rack had broken tires. It seems since Neuron entered with bikes into Darwin Spinway has given up. At least keep your website up to date.

Collection was booked for 9am and we arrived at 9.10am, due to Darwin Airport having no staff to off load luggage and then no Taxis at the Airport.
Another couple were already waiting in the seating area.
Check in went smooth and was asked to wait, but then it started to become apparent that the campers weren't ready and still required checking. By this time more and more people started to arrive to collect.
Based on the time we were meant to collect, we prebooked the jumping croc tour 45 mins down the road for 11am with a view to having time to do this and call at the supermarket for essential.
At 9.50 it was clear the place was heavily under staffed and the two women were trying their best, but it was chaos with people stood all over waiting. I told the lady on the checking that we really need to go otherwise we miss the croc booking.
At 10am I was given a ipad to sign that I understood the vast pages of small print, I asked if there was anything significant that I should know about and was told it will be emailed, read it later.
We went out to the camper van (3 person merc sprinter). The van was a Maui which I beleive are newer vans than Britz. Quick check round, I spotted and pointed out a significant dent that was not on the signed for documents (it was added on. I had full cover anyway).
The van was blocked in by other vans so the lady had to go for keys to move vans around so we could get out.
I wasn't given any handover instruction at all, I just got the keys.
We left at 10.10 and just made with 3 mins to spare for the croc cruise and ended up going to a basic supermarket in Jabiru at great expense.
Now the van, the one we waited for to be checked!
Bottom draw with the dishes plates ets, didn't latch shut, every corner it flew open.
First night, put the single bed up, it was broke and on the hinge and we all had to sleep on the larger bed. Luckily the next day and me been a maintenance engineer I managed to borrow tools from some mountain bikers on the campsite and I fix the bed.
Toilet, you're given 2 blocks to drop in the toilet for 6 days. After two days, 30 degree heat it was smelling like fishy cat food (number ones only too). Apparently you're meant to buy your own with it being a really cheap rental.
Sink, stunk of drains, not sure if there's a waste trap so you seem to get the lovely smell coming up from the wast tank. We put the plug in and left a small amount of water in the sink.
Gas, we didn't use it and ate out everynight. You're suppose to take it back full, not sure how you do this though unless you buy a new bottle.
We didn't think the camper was cleaned enough internally and the found other people's dirt in draws and in the bed base.
Outside table was too high for the chairs.
A reverse camera would be a bonus which was evident by the state of the rear step from previous hire.
Easy to drive, aircon was great.

We experienced an awesome day with the guys! It was easy and straightforward to organise the trip beforehand - we always felt so welcome and have been let to great hidden spots within the national park with our bikes! Also we increased speed on streets and dirt roads as soon as we felt comfortable to do so without speaking a work to our guide - he simply knew how to push us always to our limits without exceeding them!
After the long day riding around we have had a beer together and talked about the day - wouldn't change a thing! Can fully recommend this experience!!
