The exhibit of the various boats and sailing vessels that people have used to travel and immigrate was the best part and easily missed if you didn’t stumble onto the entrance to that exhibit.

Worth it in so many ways. Covers the whole history of the RFDS and the bombing of Darwin in WWII. Entry fee supports the ongoing Service. There are excellent displays of various kinds and an interesting gift shop. The virtual surround experience is amazing. Additionally the staff are very helpful.

Came here as part of an excursion from our cruise ship. The B-52 is the star of the show and it's enormous. They have a viewing gallery so you can see it from above and you can even see inside the cockpit. There are lots of other aeroplanes to see, as well as the wreck of a Japanese Zero.

Came here as part of an excursion from our cruise ship. We only had an hour here which wasn't really enough time to see everything. The outside areas are not well-maintained but there are lots of interesting things to look at, such as WWII harbour barrage and the intact coastal defence gun emplacement. Well worth a visit if you're interested in WWII.

What a fantastic array of local Northern Territory and Australian art, craft and clothing! Beautiful fabrics. Wonderfully accommodating staff. Met the artist who designed the print on the material we purchased. Fabulous experience.

This is a nice little temple, we didn't get to go through the museum because we were here on the wrong day. There is a lot of red here in line with the Chinese belief of the auspicious meaning of the colour.

A wonderful collection of art something for everyone. Very knowledgeable and helpful, we came away with a woven pandanus mat. Lots of different styles and areas represented so glad we dropped in.

What a fantastic initiative. The staff was great, the menu has variety but not large. Coffee was very good. Try the fried damper. 4 huge pieces with abundant jam cream butter dusted with plum dust. Will be coming back

Having seen this gallery mentioned on Facebook I felt had to come and see for myself

Every piece of work I wanted

Better yet it feels relaxed and no pressure to buy.

Loved the fact that artists paint both on and off site and come and go to suit themselves

It added authenticity to me to see the artists at work and I was also lucky enough to see an artist bring a piece of work in.

If you’re in Darwin it’s easy to find and close to the city centre.

Travelling on a budget, the prices were better than expected.

This House is a museum and is National Trust classified. It was closed when I went there as not open too many hours.
