Worthwhile visit particularly in association with the Bombing of Darwin boat cruise. Take the time to watch the videos.

Australians were deceived by Government about the extent of war time activity in Darwin. The bombing was ferocious. The video experience here and the small museum are well worth the visit. We took an Uber out here rather than waste a day waiting for a bus. It was very cheap

Huge shed full of weird and wonderful collection of anything with an engine plus a few odd bits relating to the history of Darwin, run by the Darwin Motor Enthusiast Club. It's free to enter although donations are welcome and run by volunteers that can be found working on their bikes and cars in the workshops. They are a friendly bunch and up for a chat if you feel like it. For anything who likes cars, motorbikes, fire engines, trains, it' worth a wander.

Whilst on the Darwin history and wartime experience tour we found out about Burnett house. We returned the next day. It’s an excellent example of period homes of Darwin. No only did the bullet holes give an interesting twist to the home’s history but the architecture and design was awesome. So glad the National trust look after such building for us.

I had visited the temple when I was working in Darwin about 40 years ago. It is still at the same site. Some improvements have been made on the building itself since I last visited. I made a small donation for the upkeep of the building. The temple is open from 8am to 4pm every day and free to visit. Being of Chinese heritage it is great to see that people of all denominations can visit and respect our customs.

I easily could have spent a small fortune here, so many gorgeous arts and crafts. The talent of the artists is incredible. The staff were super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Great care to help us package our large purchase so we could take it home with us on the plane. Also appreciated receiving printed info about the artist. Will definitely be purchasing from the online store too

A wonderful collection of art something for everyone. Very knowledgeable and helpful, we came away with a woven pandanus mat. Lots of different styles and areas represented so glad we dropped in.

We were staying nearby so dropped in for a look. Some very impressive artists. Paul was very helpful and emailed us a catalogue after we had to return to Brisbane. Will be going back next time we're in town. Thanks Paul.

We went here as Members of the UK National Trust and had reciprocal rights...but it’s “free” ($5 donation suggested).

What an excellent place, as I write the exhibition is about land surveying - more interesting than it sounds. With a knowledgeable and articulate volunteer we had a really good visit and found out a lot about the origins of Darwin.

Well worth a visit, we were here around 45 minutes.

I follow this mob on Facebook so was super excited to visit in person. A great story and well presented art. It is worth a visit and a good place to purchase art from.
