I was going through a serious health scare and since I know how much stress and anxiety can make you sick... I decided to be proactive and to seek all avenues of relaxation: Despite the fact I very rarely have massages I visited Sharon at Ka Huna Massage on several occasions.
The results were spectacular. Sharon's skills are second to none. I was able to relax to regain my energy and get rid of my negative thoughts... And, and... I received a "no worries" diagnosis from my surgeon at a later stage...

I'd previously booked at Healing Hands, but despite their online booking system confirming my appointment, the masseur on duty didn't know anything about my appointment and said he was booked up.
So I looked at Yin Dee Thai on TA and liked what I saw. The owner himself was on duty and gave me a terrific massage with his own healing hands. I went back after a week for another appointment - when I rang the place hadn't opened for the day, but they were sensible enough to notice a missed call and rang me back. Smart.
The second massage was with a staff member but his hands were equally good.

I preferred this one better. The masseuse was from bali and had years of experience compared with the backpacker I got at yindee. The massage at Yindee was also done on a thin mattress on the floor with a slightly raised head pillow which was not very comfortable. At carolines there is a proper massage bed. The slight noise level of incoming guests at both places is a bit of an issue at the walls do not reach the ceiling between the reception and treatment areas. Ladies are extremely friendly and they work clean.
They don’t grind your nails down like other salons do.
They took time to remove the old gel very gently and neatly before applying the new colour.
Hand and foot massage was perfect.

- Ocea7 contributionsI set myself a little fitness goal on my latest trip to Darwin and was a little nervous about where to go. I gave Encore Pilates Studio a try, and fell in love with the vibe of the space, the instructors and the sessions.
I enjoyed the classes so much! The instructors are amazing, and offer great instruction with a focus on safety and technique.

The birthday girl had a transformation. I fell asleep during my treatment. I will be back on my next visit to Darwin.
A visit to the Lagoon pool before and after our treatments was a lovely end to our afternoon

The primary reason I am writing this was they took time to explain the process to us. We went for foot reflexology and the manager explained the entire process to us prior to the actual session with the masseuse. I have been to many spas across the world and have never had anyone sit down and explain what was going to happen and that there may be some pain involved, but this is why. Explained how the pressure was going to be applied and the reasons why it was being done that way. Asked us if there was any existing injuries and explained they would not perform the procedure if they thought it would be impact the injury. The session was handled professionally and we felt like a million bucks afterwords.
