- JoCastlecrag, Australia2 contributionsHad the most incredible time! Thoroughly recommend the 7 day comfort trek booked through Australian Walking Holidays! We were so impressed with our three wonderful guides. Their professional service, contagious passion & detailed knowledge of the ancient landscapes, individual care, impressive culinary skills & good natured energy and sense of fun delivered by Stac, Tom & Karl. You guys are the best and delivered to all sixteen of us the holiday of a lifetime - thank you 🤠Written September 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michelle J3 contributionsLoved this museum. The virtual reality headset gave you such a realistic aerial view over Central Australia while experience what happens on board the aircraft while transporting a patient. The hologram was brilliant and answered every question you could have, while presenting in such an engaging way. The museum was so much better than I expected. The staff were lovely also. Well worth the visit.Written March 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- rob27898Port Kennedy, Australia389 contributionsWasn’t sure what to expect with ‘the oldest buildings in NT’ but I was impressed - more so with the history than complex.
The staff were friendly and coffee hot so we just wandered around and read the interp.
it’s November so not busy at all with mainly people stopping by for refreshments off the nearby walking tracks.
It’s all certainly worth a visit to take a look around but it shouldn’t be your sole visit.Written November 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A very informative, but also humorous, talk about snakes and reptiles by the owner surprised many of us. Snakes, thorny devils, goannas, and the star of the show, Terry the Crocodile can all be seen here. Great place for all ages.Written November 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- felicia2732Barham, Australia3 contributionsWe visited twice during our trip to Alice. We were warmly welcomed even though we arrived 15 mins before closing time. Kids were given a little activity to do while we browsed.
We expressed interest in a particular work and Karl held it for us for a week until we returned.
He was happy to tell us about the work but wasn’t pushy, let us ponder it and look at it quietly on our own.
We purchased two paintings in the end and couldn’t be happier with them and the overall experience.Written September 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rob27898Port Kennedy, Australia389 contributionsNot far out of town and is sign posted.
A short walk over good ground to the site. In November there isn’t a lick of water in the river so you could walk the bed although not easy under foot.
Not too busy in November with just some instagrammers hanging around.
Worth a quick visit along with some other areas of the range.Written November 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He then stayed overtime to help me book a special tour for my partner's birthday and finally helped us to postpone our tour when we got an issue with our car and we had to delay our plans. Tash also helped us and even printed out a list of mechanics in town. We had more then a normal visitor center experience, we felt taken care of as a friend would do. A big thank to all the team! We'll never forget our week in the Red Center...Written March 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- mrc282World8,028 contributionsjust visit this one and forget the rest (omnistron gorge, glen helen gorge, etc).
ormistron gorge is so-so
glen helen gorge resort is closed so you cant access the property en route to the gorge itself, although there is a separate 15 min trail leading to it.Written August 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
