I’ve started coming here a lot over the past 3 years. It’s a great and lively park. I often sit on the benches and read or draw. Or I just have a wander around, it’s a great park for a walk . lots of ducks & squirrels <3

A small but fascinating museum, covering a difficult subject. Only opened in 2015 it benefits from audio visual displays, which bring patient experiences alive. The Museum challenges our understanding of mental health and how it is treated. Very friendly staff and it's free! There is a community cafe close by. There is also free parking.

Had occasion to listen to a band concert here one afternoon. was reminded why these old churches are designed and built the way they are: too maximize the sound quality. That is definitely the case here. And, it seems that this church is more than simply a place of worship, but also a community centre, available for all sorts of uses.
    Enjoy the peaceful grounds, too.

Cator Park was part of the ancient Cator Estate and is an extensive and beautiful green space with a children's playground, football area, varieties of trees and flower and rose borders. The park has three rivers running through it: the Pool, the Beck and the Chaffinch although all three merge into one slowly flowing culverted stream. Cator Park is a picture in early spring with thousands of daffodils, crocuses, blue bells and tulips. A hardworking Friends group endeavours to keep the park looking good and organises various activities such as bat walks, spring walks, bulb planting, and a spectacular dog show in early September.

Travelled to Beckenham Junction Station from Tonbridge on a special train service, 27 minutes or so, to see a bit of cricket. Walked to the ground, 15 minutes or so away, nice little ground. There were more temporary eateries this time, ice cream van, burger’s, pizzas, tacos, hot dogs,Thai food, the cheese people (cheesy chips) and others. Tea and coffee stalls, beer tents and beer van, so all bases covered. We went there to see Kent play Hampshire at a T20 game of cricket. Very good game both teams played well, but in the end Super Kent won, a close game all the same. Kent have won 6 out of 7 games in the Vitality Blast 2019 season so far. Some big names in both sides. Plenty of seating and the weather was pretty good. Things for kids to do (Bouncy Castle) Have been here a few times now and have enjoyed what the ground has to offer, it’s a nice little local cricket ground. Medics were there as always. Hope to go again soon.

Lovely park with plenty of life about it. There were some foodie stalls there when we visited, which was lovely. They have a little play park and several places to get coffees, pizza and other food and drinks. Choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Could've done with a bit more cover over the outside seats, like big umbrellas, for those of us who get sunburst easily.

Painstaking picture framing by this art shop. No more expensive than corresponding local framers and much better quailty in my opinion. Care is taken in the advice offered and in the quality work paid for.
