My wife and I visited this place a few days ago. It is now called "La Trobe Wildlife Sanctuary". The signage at the entrance and the Information Board after the entrance indicate this fact.

The La Trobe Wildlife Sanctuary is 30-hectare area of River Red Gum Grassy Woodland, dedicated to the conservation and restoration of native Australian flora and fauna.

We enjoyed walking along the various hiking tracks. We saw a lake and several birds during our walk. There is free car parking at the front of this place.

Staff are engaging and friendly - they make it so easy to organise big and small events in this space. Booking, room set-up, catering and payment are never a worry with great feedback from event attendees.
