What travelers are saying
- flinflonSherwood Park, Alberta10 contributionsFor the second year in a row we have rented bikes from Village Velo. We have been very happy with the bikes and the friendly service Michael provides. The bikes are high end, and always in excellent working condition; you will not be disappointed.Written November 9, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bill P7 contributionsGood bikes, good price, friendly service. Lots of cycle paths once you get out of town. Grau-du-Roi is a bit of a zoo, but no bike rental in Aigues-MortesWritten May 23, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TheRealWilkysBournemouth, UK138 contributionsWe so enjoyed our time on the bikes last time, when we found ourselves close by this year we decided to go again.
As always the customer service was superb, I was also able to have a more sit up style bike so it was so much more comfortable, I asked if my handlebars could be raised and was offered a different style of bike. We hired for 4 hours and cycled down to Tour Corbiere which is free to climb, there is also a hotel on the corner and although we only had a drink the food coming out looked and smelt amazing and they let us bring the bikes into the garden as we hadn't asked for a lock.
All in all a wonderful day once again thanks to Tourismavelo and there super bikesWritten August 2, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Off road tracks literally 500 metres away from the centre.Written June 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Becky PLondon, UK66 contributionsThis is the highlight of my summer - a kayaking jaunt down the river with friends and a picnic is on of the best days out!! I visit very single summer and it wouldn't feel like a holiday without a kayaking trip on a hot day. The scenery is breathtaking and its a pretty easy ride so good for beginners.Even my 60 year old mum came last time and her friends! Alternatively my hussar and I have been here alone for a picnic and it was incredibly romantic..
I always call before to check availability as i typically come with a gang .. but never had a problem.

Recommend getting there early. Private parkplace, friendly welcome at the reception, short walk to the canoes/kayaks and we were on our way. Low water levels, so in some cases we needed to get out of the boat and pull it over the rocks. Took a couple of breaks along the way, jumped off cliffs and had lunch at the base of the Pont du Gard. Arrived at pick up point at 1 pm, welcomed with a smile, and were taken back to our car. - Julie MQueensland, Australia64 contributionsBeautiful countryside everywhere but La Garrigue was our favourite. Biking is an ideal way to see the countryside in close up.
The e-bikes we rented from Sun-e-Bikes in Uzès were in excellent order and easy to ride. The lock provided to us was fairly lightweight and very easy to use, unlike some we have been given at different places.
Leo has a friendly and welcoming manner, and was careful to explain everything about the bikes and the routes.
We enjoyed our first ride to Pont du Gard so much we rented again a few days later and cycled La Garrigue route which is a little more challenging but extremely scenic and interested.
