The park is very spacious and peaceful. There are ancient Roman remains, and very close to it there is a very convenient parking lot under one of the streets.

Interesting visit. Probably going to be a difficult visit for those with limited mobility as there is a 850m walk to the entrance of the cave from the parking, also steps to climb down and up in the cave. Lovely light show at the end of the tour.

We found the whole experience fascinating. We learned so much about bamboo and its uses and properties. It was a wonderful way to spend a morning , so peaceful and so beautifully kept gardens and buildings.Well worth a visit and you are free to go at your own pace.

A lovely aquarium with a wide range of animals to see across various environments.
It still looks like it is “working its way back” after COVID, with the foyer / shop / cafe area struggling to accommodate the one way system which is now in place and several exhibits mis labelled or not labelled at all.
Very convenient for the underground car park too

I was a little unsure as to whether I should do the tour after reading other reviews.I was very pleasantly surprised and found it stunning. The lighting on some of the stairs could have been better but as long as you take your time on the stairs it was ok for me. It wasnt busy when we visited. The lady in the kiosk was very helpful and the coffee was good. Interesting gift shop.

It was a long walk down to the actual caves with a giant drop if you fell. The caves were very interesting with dinosaurs footprints on the celling!!! There was a person with a dog which was annoying. At the little cafe they had lollipops but not much else. The toilets are the standing ones.

Described as a gentle walk...it isn’t! But don’t be put off it is well worth the effort. There is wonderful and informative signage in French and English which tells a story of everything from local flora and fauna to occupation over the ages for purposes of concealment. Picturesque and a must do if you are in the locale.

Small but interesting gardens in a lovely quiet setting in the middle of a block of medieval buildings. The awkward climb up and down the spiral staircase in the tower is well worth it for the view over the roofs of Uzes and beyond. Not inexpensive but worth it.

While staying in Uzes we took the short drive over to the small, average little village of Collias simply to have a stroll by the river that runs through the Gorges du Gardon and on to Pont du Gard.

There were lots of families sunbathing, swimming and jumping off high rocks into the river and it is an attractive spot, although the riverbank areas are rather scruffy with lots of graffiti. There is also a simple kiosk type cafe for cold drinks and ice creams.

From Collias we tool a circular B route through the countryside back to Uzes and, altogether, it was a pleasant drive out.

We went on a super hot day for a birthday lunch celebration. The garden was fun to walk round and look at the sculptures. It’s slightly overgrown but charming. This would not be suitable for those with mobility issues - there are many steps and narrow paths. The lunch was delicious - a set menu - all vegetarian under brightly coloured umbrellas. I don’t know if you can walk directly to the restaurant without encountering steps. You pay separately for the restaurant and garden entry. The garden tarif allows for repeat visits.

Yes, the park is very good and we were there from 10am until 6pm.There is plenty to do,but I advise you eat lunch BEFORE going in.The food and drinks are ridiculously expensive (with the exception of a Cappacino which at 3 euros was excellent) and no chance of going out and coming back in,this was a first for me.
