Stopped at Comino for about 75 min and the weather was warm for this time of the year with quite a few people swimming in the sea. The water was clear and you could see fish. - Claire C5 contributionsPopeye village its self is fantastic, we had a great day in the water and hired a pedal boat. The water is crystal clear and perfect for a hot day.
The village was cool with lots to see.
The day was slightly spoiled by very rude staff in the cafes and food areas, we went to 3 different ones and each was a very long wait, only to be met with staff who were honest just quite rude and abrupt. The food areas were covered with bees or wasps because tables hadn’t been cleared, so we were swarmed at lunch and had to move away.

He took us to ALL the iconic sites in Malta (around the entire Island) and went over and above to make sure that we captured the very best of Malta. It was an incredible 4+ hours of an unbelievable and unforgettable tour. Peter gets 💯 for his efforts to give us the very best of his knowledge humour and kindness. - Calculator26England17 contributionsVery interesting. There’s a lot of walking and steps, which didn’t bother me; but some may find it difficult. Tour guide very knowledgeable. The down side was not enough time to wander round the ruins, due to time taken to get there. I think that it would be very hot in the Summer; as walking to the ruins is very open. - ParadiseBreak31 contributionsLooking for an ideal day trip with the whole family in Malta? Luzzu Cruises offers various cruises to Gozo and Comino. We opted for the Comino Day Cruise. At 10am we leave Sliema towards Gozo. In Gozo the passengers who visit this island leave the boat. The perfect moment to take some pictures of Mgarr. Then it goes to the Blue Lagoon on Comino for a stopover of about four hours. Ideal for a walk, a dip in the fresh water and a fruit cocktail at one of the food trucks. If the sea is a bit too rough we will go to Crystal Lagoon right next to the Blue Lagoon. The day ends with a visit to some sea caves along Comino and then around 5pm we moor back in Sliema. The Comino Day Cruise is a perfect day out to discover the different islands from the water. - Jason B2 contributionsHad really good fun whizzing around north Malta. Quad bikes were nice quality and we had some fantastic views of the beautiful Maltese scenery. Tour guide was really nice chap - friendly and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves.
If I had any complaints, it's that we stayed a little too long at some of the stops, but I'm nitpicking.
