- ianc951Leighton Buzzard, UK286 contributionsIf my daughter had not been such a movie buff I would not have gone but it really turned out to be fun. The staff and characters are excellent and super interactive which I soon found is not the norm in Malta. The fun park is in fact the actual film set fishing village constructed for the 1980 Popeye movie featuring Kevin Williams bless his soul. The deal is they invite you to volunteer to become actors under direction from the staff to relive scenes from the movie which put all the actors into party mode. We all had a great day under the Malta sunWritten October 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Antonia BWarrington6 contributionsThis really is a hidden gem, and I’m so glad we went. The volunteer (didn’t catch his name) was so friendly and knowledgeable. The history is fascinating. Definitely visit if you’re in town!Written March 11, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TnMTravels15Littlehampton, UK24 contributionsA nice beach, sun loungers 4 euros each. Quite small but worth a visit. I imagine in the summer it is very busy, so maybe consider golden bay if you come in the summer.Written March 18, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Traveltiger46 contributionsA lovely beach, but a bit of a trek with young children. Clean, golden sand and shallow water, perfect for a paddle. Take lots of water for the walk up and down as it can be very exposed.Written October 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carole SGuiseley, UK45 contributionsThis is such a beautiful church and is well worth a visit although visitors are not allowed in until 5pm/6pm. My partner and myself looked around it was really lovely. There were a lot of visitors there too.Written November 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bikerbabe2014Dublin, Ireland344 contributionsGreat ferry trip over to Gozo. Lots of times available. - Phil BWarton, UK25 contributionsAnother tower that has been restored and gives great insight into the history of Malta. Great volunteer led project and worthy an hour or two to understand more of the island's past. In order to reach the top of the tower you have to climb a narrow spiral staircase which may not be possible for all. Good video introduction which is available in a number of languages, and the volunteer manning the tower was keen to answer any questions we had. Well worthy the couple of pounds entry.Written February 5, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ashvini rBristol31 contributionsStayed here for 4 nights. Our room was beach facing and had a balcony. We had my birthday lunch in the balcony. Absolutely loved it. Hotel also has a private beach. Best part was the number of sparrows around the hotel. You would wake up to their songs :) .
Breakfast had live cooking and a wide spread of things you could eat and fresh fruits.
One thing to avoid is city sightseeing counter in the lobby. Their buses are infrequent and they cost double the amount you would get tours in the city.Written October 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We'd have gone back if the jellyfish forecast had changed before the end of our holiday. We got there fairly early to get a shady space on the sand next to the wall. The pizza at the restaurant was quite nice.Written August 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- cheshire3131Runcorn, UK801 contributionsI didn't do the 70 plus steps down but the family did and said it was worth it. Easily missed as it's across the road from the church.Written July 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - idiotabroadStoke-on-Trent, UK45 contributionsGreat beach shallow sea always warm. Regular buses. Cafes and bar. We went in October two sun-beds and parasol with a bat at. 20 euros. You would expect use of a toilet with that. Fish in the water so worth a face maskWritten October 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
