Here you can find one of the few sandy beaches in Malta, with a public beach and the "private" beach of the InterContinental hotel.
You can walk around the bay if you want ... the promenade can be very nice for a stroll.
For those of you into water sport - there is a dive center there too.
Around the bay there are bars and restaurants - where you have a cold beer, some refreshment or dine...

The kids had a really great time with all the arcades, bumper cars, soft play area and the food was delicious. One driver had B.O. and didn't know where he was going, having difficulty following his Waze or online app (ignoring a do-not-enter sign resulting in an awkward retreat) but others were great and i don't judge on one bad drive. The ambiance is nothing special, but the technician was friendly & efficient and did a great job! I felt so refreshed afterwards and they targeted all aches and pains whilst been really relaxing! Highly recommend this place! Only thing is the bouncers at the door seem to give different prices for entry depending on what you look like, so beware of that. The Italian owners of this cute place, decorated from wall to ceiling with gin bottles ordered by color, are very friendly land welcoming. Gin lovers: this is the place to be. What a collection!
The lovely lady of the house told us a bit about her life and the history of this bar. In summer time people come in to order a gin tonic and bring their glasses outside on the pavement to enjoy their drinks looking at the sea in the evening sun. She also stressed that in her bar everybody is welcome.

If you want fine dining this is not the place to go to, but if you want cheap decent food and drink , it is ! Probably the best value bar in the area.
