one of the most beautiful areas of St.Julien and not only...an oasis of luxury and comfort, offered by the design and decoration around the water...full of beautiful boats, boats that can be rented or even bought, jet ski right at the exit from the bay...and in the bay the water is perfect for scuba diving or swimming...

St. Geroge's bay - in the heart of St Julians, it is a very nice spot for those who want to take a swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean sea.
Here you can find one of the few sandy beaches in Malta, with a public beach and the "private" beach of the InterContinental hotel.
You can walk around the bay if you want ... the promenade can be very nice for a stroll.
For those of you into water sport - there is a dive center there too.
Around the bay there are bars and restaurants - where you have a cold beer, some refreshment or dine...
Overall a very nice spot in the heart of St. Julians.

We stayed in Balluta Bay at the Marriott. It’s very picturesque! The little sandy beach is great to swim from as the bottom is sandy, free stones and kind to your feet! The water is shallow, clear and warm. There are plenty of great places to dine and drink at and the place comes alive at night. Very vibrant! We loved staying at the Marriott and the bay, beach and surrounding area are lovely.

Such a nice area to walk around. Great for eating, drinking, swimming or just chilling out and watching the world go by.

We swam here every day whilst staying at the Malta Marriott - short walk away to this area that has fast flowing water that is clean and aquamarine blue. Plenty of rails and stairs to access the phenomenal sea and cordoned off by buoys for safe swimming. Crystal clear water and lots of fish so bring your snorkel and goggles! Avoid the “giant ashtrays” that are typical of Malta though - there are cigarette butts EVERYWHERE you look and quite a lot of litter - there are some trees to sit under so bring towels to sit on as the litter can be a bit off-putting…

Wouldn't really call this a beach. The water is beautiful, but the tiny strip of sand is so dirty I wouldn't even want to step on it with shoes.

Stayed close by and visited these gardens during my stay. Pretty garden and well maintained. Just as the photo shows. Tucked away but I was able to see it from my hotel window.
