Stopped at Comino for about 75 min and the weather was warm for this time of the year with quite a few people swimming in the sea. The water was clear and you could see fish. Edmond was our driver and he took us to so many places and explained everything along the way and at the sites. He had no problem waiting for us, we could spend as much time as we wanted at each stop. I was able to provide him a list of the places our party of 4 wanted to go and he quickly looked at the list and put them in order with the lay of the land. If you want a GREAT one day tour of the sites of Malta book with Edmond Garage and ask for Edmond as your driver. This tour gave us a great overall of Malta so the rest of the days we were their we could go back to the best places, and there are many. - ParadiseBreak31 contributionsLooking for an ideal day trip with the whole family in Malta? Luzzu Cruises offers various cruises to Gozo and Comino. We opted for the Comino Day Cruise. At 10am we leave Sliema towards Gozo. In Gozo the passengers who visit this island leave the boat. The perfect moment to take some pictures of Mgarr. Then it goes to the Blue Lagoon on Comino for a stopover of about four hours. Ideal for a walk, a dip in the fresh water and a fruit cocktail at one of the food trucks. If the sea is a bit too rough we will go to Crystal Lagoon right next to the Blue Lagoon. The day ends with a visit to some sea caves along Comino and then around 5pm we moor back in Sliema. The Comino Day Cruise is a perfect day out to discover the different islands from the water. Chris was quick to respond, made suggestions on an itinerary and filled us with confidence that we were in good hands and would have a good day. We were staying in Mellieha, an hour's drive for Chris but he was punctual and keen to show us around his Island. Following visits to Mosta, Mdina, Marasaxiokk and the 3 Cities Chris was still recommending we visit the Church of St. Lawrence in Birgu even though our agreed time had passed. Chris was more concerned that we had a great tour rather than clock watch. The amount of people smoking with ashes and cigarette buts flying everywhere was unbearable for ppl who do not smoke. In addition to sea sickness it wasn't a fun ride. immediately had a replacement car and driver for us. Peter showed up and continued our tour. He showed us every corner of Malta. We feel in love with Malta. There is so much history and beauty in Malta and Peter was a phenomenal guide. He had a passion for Malta and so did we after our tour. It was by far our best tour, ever! We had an amazing day and learned a lot about this fascinating country. Mindaugas went above and beyond to show us things that we would enjoy, even guiding us though an ancient cave to tell us the story of Malta's version of Romeo and Juliet, which was not on the itinerary.
