- ananioRamat Gan, Israel37 contributionsThis is not a zoo, more like a bird lover who shows you his birds. The experience is therefore very "familiar". The guy knows a lot about his birds and is very good at explaining. The audience gets a chance to get very close to the birds.Written January 21, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mer21maidCopenhagen826 contributionsReally nice museum displaying interesting works by Asger Jorn and other cobra painters. There was also an exhibition of works by Miro, and the synergies between his and Jorn’s work, really nice!
A really nice museum, but strictly in terms of Jorn, I was a bit disappointed, as they do not seem to have so many of his masterpieces…
The restaurant was also good.Written June 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is a large recreational area with a number of walks/trails and an observation tower at the highest point. A panoramic view can be seen from the area around the tower, although it may be better from the top. There is also a boat trip on the lake, which we did not have time for. The area includes a children's playground and market stalls. It is worth visiting to take advantage of the plentiful recreational opportunitiesWritten March 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TrisjurOslo, Norway12 contributionsNice day with the family. A lot to see and we came close to the animals. A little smaller than expected, but ok.Written August 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ron SNew York City, NY5,471 contributionsAlright, alright the Tolland bog man is the main reason to travel to Silkeborg. Don't make a turn onto the little street leading directly to the museum -- you will hit the dead end. Follow the sign to the museum parking instead. If you're lucky you'll find a spot there but it looks like the locals park their cars there so chances are it will be full. Just drive down the road and park on the street. The exhibition is rather small with the main attraction located in a separate room and a couple of more rooms dedicated to the research on the subject.Written August 9, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marieke VThe Netherlands17 contributionsWe visited the museum today with our kids (8 and 10yrs). We were the only visitors and the nice female staff members gave us a very nice and personal tour of the museum. We got an explanation of the production process, the craftmanship, the importance for the Silkeborg area and made our own watermarked paper. The entrance fee was definitely worth it! Hope more people visit the museum.Written August 15, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The buildings have been renoveled and made attractive for new activities, offering room for Young students, for the daily users of litterature, magazines and IT and tourists passing by. Many innovative projects take place to make the library interesting and usable in the future too and opening it towards the upcoming Campus Bindslevs Plads .
Especially the section for children is very attractive with possibilities for learning at any stage, tablets with programs for even the youngest.
And nice place with cosy corners, lots of interesting materiale and a very serviceminded staff.Written April 15, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The journey started from Bryrup and travelled to Vrads, before returning. When reaching Vrads we were able to leave the train for a short while and explore the station area before re-boarding. The scenery along the 5km route is very picturesque involving lake and woodland views. There is also a cafe and souvenir shop. The experience was pleasant and it is important for this type of heritage facility to be supported.Written March 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kent SEsbjerg, Denmark24 contributionsReally well made labyrinth, pretty exiting even with 2 teenagers 😁
You get a diploma if you find and scan (via your phone and their app) all the points ind 3D labyrinth. Another labyrinth with water, controlable by the app. Really funny, cause you can turn the water on when someone passes a gate 😂 There are 12 gates 😁
Very good food in restaurent, and also a lot of tables with different games. Both cozy and funny 😊Written July 20, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
