Picked up by our driver of the day, Mar, at 3:30am. 3 hour ride to oslob, got our scuba diving tickets and since it was a long wait before it was our turn, we headed for a quick breakfast and then tumalog falls with a 15 minute ride.

Afterwards we headed back to the whale shark diving, and it was definitely an experience to remember. The spot wasn't as deep as we thought, can definitely see the bottom. And with multiple whale sharks circling around within touching distance, but definitely DO NOT TOUCH.

After that we headed to sumilion sand bar with a quick 5 minute boat ride. Water was crystal clear, sand was soft but had some sharp rocks scattered across the beach.

Finally we headed to the canyoneering area with another 10 minute ride, met with an amazing guide called Albert. He lead us through the route safely and kept the atmosphere lively and fun. Met with amazing views and exciting jumps.

Last but not least, we headed back to Cebu City, took 3+ hours. But our driver Mar definitely took us back there as soon as possible.

Would recommend renting gopros, as the boatman at the whale shark diving, and the guide at the canyoneering will assist in filming and taking photos for the events. Afterwards they will email you the footage.

I was picked up at 4am by my guide Chenerie and driver for the day Dado. It’s worth pointing out that the trip is solo for your group only. I was traveling solo so bought the minimum of two tickets and had the whole tour to myself. The experience was fantastic and ticked the bucket list delivering what it said and more, 3 turtles, sea snake etc. What really stood out for me was the first class service. Chanerie was an absolutely fantastic guide who made sure all was perfect and is very knowledgeable on the area and her country’s history filling the trip with little pieces of information on language, culture and history. Your very lucky if she is your group guide. As a driver Dado was faultless. A smooth ride except on the bumpy mountain roads and good company too. If your thinking of booking with this company I can’t recommend it highly enough. Ten out of ten.

My best bud and I had the most amazing time in Cebu when we embarked on this activity. The booking via Klook was extremely easy, and our hotel pickup details were emailed to us 2 days before the event.

We were assigned a private car and driver for the entire day, which surprised us. Our driver, Dennis, was the sweetest and nicest tito ever. He was always smiling, and never too shy engaging with us. Heck, we had hours of non-stop karaoke sessions in his car that kept us awake with energy during the long drives between locations. We were able to store our belongings safely in this car while we embarked on both the Oslohb whale shark and Badian canyoneering activity.

It is true: the whale shark activity is 3 hours driving, 3 hours waiting, and 30 minutes of actual snorkelling. On paper, that sounds too short. But in reality, every moment was an experience. The boat row out to sea felt like the calm before a storm—what was going to actually happen once we stopped? Turns out, the moment we dropped into the waters, we were barely a meter away from whale sharks of various sizes. In fact, we were even touched by some! The whale sharks were majestic, and being able to swim so up close to them was an experience of a lifetime.

After the whale shark activity, we had to take an almost 90 mins drive (with Dennis) to Badian for our Canyoneering activity. The activity started with a serious indemnity form signing, briefing, and another short drive to the start point. There, we met hundreds of other thrill seekers, and was given another briefing before choosing to take a hike to the start point, or the zip line. We picked the hike and got some of the most amazing mountain views.

The whole Canyoneering experience was nothing short of exhilarating fun!!! We will totally do it all over again. We were accompanied by the best guides ever—Jerome and his partner. They did not treat us like tourists—they treated us like their own pare (brothers) and took very good care of us, while making it fun all along the way. They guided and encouraged us to go through exciting routes, jumps, falls, and even served as our private photographers and videographers. Being experienced, they knew the best angles for all the shots.

Badian Canyoneering was 3 hours+ of non stop climbing, jumping, swimming, and hiking. It was an amazing adventure in nature.

All in all, no words can describe how enjoyable the whole day was. It was not just the activities, but also the company. We will remember the team who was with us, and hope we can visit them again.

Very well organized, it's amazing how much awesomeness was possible in one day with such a long transit from Cebu city.

I'd had insomnia and no sleep before the 3:30am pickup time so was a bit concerned how i'd go but once the light breakfast was served with coffee (and a view) I was good to go and then once in the water with whale sharks and jumping into canyons the adrenalin made me feel fantastic.

As the wait for the whale shark experience (after getting ticket) was long the guide expertly changed the itinerary perfectly so there was no waiting around anywhere. I also opted in for the zipline which was well worth the additional PHP.

Highly reccomemded and great value !

Before starting the tour, we weren't completely sure how good the different activities will be. We compared lots of tour options and decided on this one as it combined all the highlights of Cebu Island that we wanted to see. It did not disappoint!

We were picked up at our hotel in Cebu city at 3:30 AM by our driver, Ryan, who was very friendly, helpful and considerate. We talked a lot about different things in the Philippines during the many hours we spent in the car that day.

First there's a 3 hour ride to Oslob where we had a chance to swim with whale sharks. The early departure is needed because the whale sharks come near the coast only in the morning, as that's when they're being fed. After a safety instruction and some waiting time (it can be very busy there...) we got our chance to hop into a boat and get near the sharks for about 30 minutes. They're completely harmless and it's fascinating to see them from such a close distance. There's an option to rent a GoPro for 550 PHP, the guys on the boat can take pictures and videos of you. They transfer the media to your phone afterwards through a USB cable. Definitely worth the price.

After the stop in Oslob we continued towards Alegria, where we went canyoneering (duration approx. 3 hours). Normally they would take us to the Kawasan Falls instead, but the area has (for now) been closed by the authorities earlier this year. We didn't know more than that it's going to be a mix of hiking, swimming and jumping, but it definitely exceeded our expectations! You basically do the activity in swimwear, with water shoes, life vest and helmet which you all get there. Most of the canyoneering involves walking/swimming through the river! Very refreshing compared to a regular hike in the forest or mountains. There are several jumps along the way, with a 9 meter tall jump at the very end (which can be skipped if you don't dare). Our guides Ferdinand and Jason were very helpful and patient with us, we felt very safe around them. Just follow their instructions :) They also took plenty of pictures/videos of us during the activity, which was very nice. Please note that everything you will carry with you will get wet, so either bring a dry bag with you or leave your things in the car.

After the canyoneering activity, we went for a short drive to have lunch at a family farm owned by the tour operator. There was lots of food for our group of 4 and it was all very tasty! One of the guys was vegetarian and the hosts took that into account with some of the dishes, which was nice.

After lunch we drove another 30 minutes to Moalboal, where we took part in the last activity of the day: snorkeling with sardines and sea turtles (30 minutes). It was nice, we managed to see 3 turtles and loads of sardines, as well as clownfish and blue starfish!

Then Ryan drove us back to Cebu city, which again took 3 hours. So, this trip took about 14 hours and we were totally broken by the time we returned to the hotel, but this was a great day and the absolute maximum you can get out of a day on Cebu island. We would definitely recommend this tour.

My experience with Lagum Adventure's "Kawasan Canyoneering" was nothing short of amazing.

The guides were highly professional, ensuring our safety while navigating through the breathtaking multi-layer waterfalls. This adventure was both thrilling and educational, making it a must-do for any adventurer.

Amazing adventure experiences, totally beyond my expectations.
This is an exclusive tour, I booked by myself so the whole drive is only the great driver and me, he came to pick me up at 5 am, and on the way to the destination he passed by Jollibee so I got to get some breakfast (super yummy).

The first stop is Scuba Dive, and see the Salatin fish and Sea Turtle, you can rent Go-pro so a tour guide will take pictures and videos for with very reasonable charge.

Around 11 am we arrived at the adventure place, and had some lunch before the adventure, my guide was a total of 5 stars called Mac, definitely highly recommend it if you can choose :) He is very caring, and kind and great sense of photography.

The canoeing was the best adventure I've had ever, it was scary for the first 2-meter jump, but once you tried you will enjoy it, btw I did my 10-meter jump, so good luck to you! The whole views are very stunning and felt so involved by the natural elements, very satisfying and relaxing.

Another 5 stars for the driver Elizer, he is such a kind and humorous person, you won't be bored even for 4 hours driving :)

Thank you everyone for offering such a great experience for me in Cebu, hope I'll be back here soon!

Such a great experience. Everyone was so friendly and our tour guide took amazing care of us. The experience itself is so magical from the zip line to jumping off the rocks to the waterfalls. The water was the most gorgeous shade of blue. I’d give is 100/10 and would recommend everyone visiting the Philippines to check out this amazing experience.

Thank you Cherry! Everything was great, the driver and Lelia were all fantastic and had clear communication from the time we booked.
It is a big day but you get breakfast and lunch in between activities. The drive itself is quite long but very pretty.

Wonderful place for awesome experiences. Have fun with the sardine run!! Have leisurely walk/swim with a pawikan. Appreciate the corals. Have a canyoneering rush!

    Pros
    Friendly people
Affordable - php500 per pax package for the sardine run+pawikan+coral and php1500 per pax for canyoneering (includes lunch). Package includes rent for basic gear (snorkel and life vest) and 2 expert guides who happen to be brothers and are safety focused and take really good underwater pictures (contact: Charlie Tundag 09557280005)
You can rent extras - gopro @php500, fins for snorkeling , footwear for canyoneering
Shower area available - with minimal pay (manage expectations - think outdoor rustic)

    Cons
    Jellyfish!!!! And more jellyfish!!!!

    Notes
Better to do this first before going to sumilon/oslob; if planning on renting a gopro and having more underwater photoexperienced guides - negotiate to have them also for the sumilon island snorkeling and oslob butanding/whale shark experience (the oslob gopro were dated and the guides there had limited expertise in taking pics)
Best to have your own gear ie snorkel, fins, mojos/footwear
If planning for all activities to be done in a day - start early!!!
There are canteens/food establishments by the sardine run area
Lockers are available for a minimal fee
When planning an overnight - check in before sundown as navigating can be tricky (narrow dark and winding roads with dead ends)
    Be prepared for jellyfish stings
Lots of affordable/budget lodging (for oslob - we highly recommend castroverde homestay with its free unending coffee and drinking water, hammocks for outside relaxation and friendly and helpful staff; for moalboal - Oyo RN Guesthouse had a clean room for us even when we booked really late at nivht)
