After the Christmas market was cancelled because of the storm it was rescheduled to a smaller Twilight event. The atmosphere was magical, amazing food, and fabulous local arts and crafts for sale. Highly recommended.Written January 2, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Carmel ODublin, Ireland19 contributionsI visit Cavan Genealogy on occasions for different reasons, perhaps to meet people there or to look for some information. On one occasion while waiting, I looked at their collection of history books and seen a book that I have wanted (out of print for many years), imagine my joy when I realised it was for sale (it's cost saved it!), I bought it and skipped out with a wonderful present to myself.Written November 7, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bozeman-DublinTrim, Ireland11,389 contributionsBreffni Park is a lovely ground, a proper bowl or amphitheatre to play football in. It has a great atmosphere and wide steep terracing from which to watch the game.
There is a grandstand on the West side, about half of which is covered. It's a pity the roof doesn't cover the whole stand but it is what it is.
The other three sides are terraced including the east side where we went. The access and exit is easy and it's right on the main road to Dublin. The town is a very short walk beyond the ground so it's easy to walk from the bars and eateries to the game.
Plenty of toilet facilities and a few sweet and tea stalls inside. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit, a great provincial venue, one I'd love to return to.Written March 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
