Visiting Angkor Wat temple in Siem Reap, Cambodia, was a truly awe-inspiring experience! The temples's grandeur and intricate carvings are absolutely breathtaking, showcasing the architectural genius of the Khmer Empire. Walking through the ancient corridors and exploring the vast complex made me feel like I was stepping back in time.
The sunrise at Angkor Wat is a must-see-it's an unforgettable sight as the sun rises behind the iconic silhouette of the temple. The surrounding temples, like Bayon and Ta Trohm, are equally fascinating and add to the overall magical atmosphere.

The absolute highlight of my India trip was seeing this magnificent building up close and personal. This is somewhere I have wanted to see for as long as I can remember and I was not disappointed.

I booked a private tour which I do recommend as there’s a wealth of information to be had about this place. I arrived at opening and was one of the first inside. Whilst there was a lot to see and learn I honestly just wanted to sit for an hour or so and take it all in. No talking, no walking just sit on the lawn and appreciate where I was and the moment for what it is. My tour guide was exceptional and understood the assignment completely. I was left alone for around 90 minutes whilst he engaged with other tour guides and then we went about a leisurely and educational tour of the rest.

You cannot come anywhere near the Taj Mahal and not decide to pay it a visit. This was worth getting up and leaving at 02:00 from Delhi to ensure I was in nice and early. Typing this with a massive smile on my face just reminiscing.
