Holland State Park is the absolute best!! From views of our famous "Big Red" lighthouse, which is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the State of Michigan, to our sandy beaches, it is a trip worth taking!!
Fantastic park to visit on a beautiful summer day the beach and water are clean and fresh, Plenty of camping close by as well, We loved the boating.

This is a really nice park covering about 5 and a half acres with lots of walking paths, mature trees, a unique fountain, gazebo, fish pond and a some memorial markers explaining the the Dutch settlement of Holland.
During the tulip festival vendors set up in the park and sale all sorts of goodies, you can spend a few hours here looking around and taking photos of the tulips, the park is very nice.

While tent camping at Sleepy Hollow State Park, we thoroughly enjoyed the sandy beach on Lake Ovid, our shady campsite on the northside of the campground, the children's playground area, and disc golf course.
