Our private guided tour with Giovanni was the highlight of our trip! From the moment he picked us up in Como, he was punctual, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the region. His ability to seamlessly blend history, culture, and humor made for an unforgettable experience.
We traveled in a comfortable minibus learning of some of the most stunning and historic locations throughout Lake Como and Switzerland. From navigating the scenic routes to arranging smooth ferry transfers, Giovanni handled every detail effortlessly.
His storytelling brought the sights to life, and his warm, easygoing personality made our group of 11 feel like we were traveling with an old friend. Whether it was sharing local insights, cracking jokes, or ensuring we had the best photo opportunities, he made sure our day was perfect.
If you're looking for a first-class private tour around Lake Como, Lombardy, or Switzerland, Giovanni is the guide you need. We cannot recommend him enough!

He was well prepared and open to modifications, providing suggestions, asking what we were comfortable with, and taking clues from us. I felt that our photo shoot was completely tailored to us and it felt so natural. While I haven’t seen the finished photos yet, I am sure they’ll be amazing! - MLHart521Indianapolis, IN165 contributionsWe had the most amazing day on Lake Como with Mia and Johnny. We booked a 6-hour excursion but we were actually on the water for 7 hours. Johnny is the very able captain and Mia is the tour guide. She had so many great stories about the villas that we passed. They were very flexible with the itinerary. Because we had already been to Bellagio and Varenna on a separate tour, we skipped those towns. We had lunch in the delightful town of Menaggio. After lunch, we went to Tremezzina and had time to do a 1-hour tour of Villa Carlotta. The best part of the trip was being on the water, cruising past the beautiful villas. We stopped in a quiet cove near Isola Comacina to have some Prosecco and snacks in the late afternoon. Just fantastic! - CaptainBingPalm Bay, FL189 contributionsWe recently did a day trip from Milan to Lake Como and we are so glad that we did. This is a must do amd see area for anyone visiting northern Italy, even if you don’t have a lot of time. Our guide, Marco, set up the perfect itinerary for us including train transfers, breakfast, lunch, and villa tickets for visits. It was a wonderful and memorable visit that we will never forget. Marco made it easy, stress free, and offered lots of insight and information along the way that helped us truly get to know the area. We visited Varenna for breakfast and coffee and fell in love. Then took the ferry past many villages and stopped in Lenno which we fell even more in love with. This little village is straight out of Disney World or vice versa. Then off to Villa Balbianello and what a magnificent place that is. Another ferry ride to Como for lunch and to catch the train to Milan. It is so beautiful there and the people are so warm and welcoming.
