The driver was available and friendly, but the second half of the trip was not that good since it is mostly on the highway and just a couple of stops.

It was breathtaking! Unfortunately there was no wifi in the van, as promised.. the Opera House was meh, and the Souk is really just a lot of Indian traders with Chinese products. Hamood from Sunshine Tours who accompanies me, is a great tour guide. He is very friendly, laid back, talkative and he can tell you many interesting things and details about Oman. Thanks also to Mohammed from Sunshine Tours! I highly recommend Sunshine Tours for desert safari trips.

Valentina reached out to us over WhatsApp in advance of our trip to answer any questions. Our tour guide was wonderful. Zaher was very knowledgeable about Oman and was able to answer all of our questions. He even brought some cake that his wife made for us to snack on. We saw the Qaboos Mosque, the Royal Opera House, the Souq, Corniche, Fish Market, and Al-Alam Palace. Zaher even stopped a few times on the route to let me snap a few photos. The vehicle was comfortable, roomy, and well air-conditioned. Everything was right on time. Found this tour that is perfect for that tip of 'sand dune' short visit when you don't have a couple days (BTW, one day doesn't do any justice to visiting Oman). Mazin was a excellent tour guide, picked us up from the hotel and took us to the Wadi and Sink hole - Mazin was very knowledgeable about the locations and history. Our guide, Mazin, was very knowledgeable and friendly and took the time to tell us about all the sights we were visiting and the history of the country. It was really good to have the local knowledge on a tour like this.
We saw all the main sights, including the Grand Mosque, the Royal Palace and the Souk. In the souk, the guide showed us a number of shops to buy local items.
Overall this was an excellent tour, and showed us round the city in a way we wouldn't be able to ourselves and represented very good value for money. Our guide was kind and had a lot to say about the various parts of the city, the mosque, and took the time to stop for scenic vistas above the fort and palace. - Toon S1 contributionExcellent full day tour with a well balanced combination of walking and swimming. The highlight is the cave after a 45 min walk and some swimming. Our guide was very helpful and gave some nice facts about the country and the wadi. He also provided us with cold drinks, some snacks and a lunch meal. - Ian L2 contributionsOur trip to Nizwa and up Jebal Akhdar was wonderful! Our tour guide, Abdullah, was kind and knowledgeable, and he never rushed us. Jebal Akhdar was definitely the highlight of the day, with the ride up the mountain offering amazing views across Oman. I was in awe that people lived atop the mountains. What a beautiful place to make a home.

He made sure we enjoyed every bit of it and was very kind and helpful. Bimmah Sinkhole is a wonderful experience and a must visit place. It's recommend to come prepared for swimming.
Wadi Shab is an adventure of its kind with long walk between the mountains and lake. To do this, I reviewed many companies that are engaged in excursions and decided to stop at Gidoman . So, I didn't regret my choice and it was the coolest ride of my life. Our guide Ilya, talked to us very interesting information about the city sights. Most of all, I liked the Corniche Road and the old market. We took amazing photos against the background of snow-white beautiful buildings like in the tale of Aladdin. - Natalia2 contributionsWe contacted Basim one week before our trip, unfortunately he was busy at our dates, but he was always in contact with us answering all the questions we had. Instead of him we had 3 days of tours with his father Humaid and it was an excellent experience. The first day it was the Muscat tour, the second we went to Nizwa and the Green Mountains, and the last day we went to Wahiba Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid. Humaid was a perfect guide, very intelligent, funny and hospitable. Also he is an excellent driver and we felt very comfortable during the trip to the desert and the mountains.
We had only 2.5 days in Oman, but with the tours it felt like we've spent a week or more, thanks to the guide. He was always very attentive to us, we also spent two warm evenings with his lovely family.
