Everytime without fail we visit Hele Corn Mill as in our view the tea rooms are the best in the area and the owners works tirelessly to make everyone feel welcome.

The best way to view the old Manor is on one of the guided tours.
We also had a quick lunch in the tea rooms on site.

We had a lovely (windy) walk up the hill to St Nicholas Chapel, and were rewarded with the gorgeous views of the town and surrounding cliffs.
The view from the altar window is breathtaking and the lady, volunteering on the day we visited, informed us that ceremonies take place again - beautiful!

From a historical point of view it's fascinating to see the olden day materials and equipment and we all loved playing on the olden day arcades - I would actually prefer to play on them than the modern day ones!
... landscaped valley that packs in more automata, water features and children's rides and attractions, all set in wonderful gardens with a maze, specimen trees, fountains, beautiful borders and lovely views.

Stunning Damien Hirst statue is a must see at Ilfracombe great views and great location but be quick as it's only on loan for about 15 years.
I really loved Verity, the quay in Illfracome is very traditional and I think Damien Hirst's piece of art at the end of it offers people an excuse to walk to the sea edge to view it, it adds a bit of a contemporar...

Following this was a beautiful walk amongst some stunning scenery with spectacular views, with the added bonus of being able to watch a breathtaking display with the dogs, Fly and Sweep.
The setting at Borough farm was excellent, in the countryside with views across the surrounding hills.

Walk right around or walk up the various paths to the summit, be rewarded with magnificent views of the town and harbour & Hillsborough one way, Landmark & Tors the other.
Loved the view from the top and the bronze statue of 'Kate'.

You really need to see this sculpture to appreciate it, the scale and detail is magnificent and worth the trip into Ilfracombe just to view this, but there is also much to see and do in this pretty town
If you can make the short walk up to the hillside chapel beside the statue the views are really memorable.

We visited Dulverton and the church whilst doing some genealogy research and found a really lovely church located high up on the edge of the village with stunning views from the top.
Standing at entrance of church you get lovely views looking down the high street.
