This little farm is a lovely visit, lovely little gift shop too. The animals look well kept , the only thing I would like to see is a bigger aquarium for the giant Gourami, the tank is far too small for such a large fish.

My sister was visiting me for the weekend and we decided to attend what was described in the advertising as a Snowdrops and Hellebores event. While there was plenty of them in the garden, it was more following the trail of sculptures around the garden, which was fun and interesting.
We had a light lunch of soup in the tea room.
    It was an enjoyable afternoon.

Gardens at Harlow Museum are looking wonderful this autumn. Its been a challenging year for gardeners- so lovely to see how well the gardens are looking. The unusual fruit garden is especially interesting in October. There is also a formal knot garden and larger walled garden with roses and other flowers. There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the autumn sunshine. The staff and volunteers were so friendly and made us feel really welcome.

The gardens are mainly level with lots of benches to sit down. It takes about an hour to look around the gardens - you can easily stay longer. Didn't have a lot of time to look around indoors at museum displays as had another commitment. Overall impression was an engaging presentation. Great to see so many women feature prominently in Harlow's story. If you wanted to make a longer day out - its about a 10-15 minute walk to the Town Park.

Run down stadium but still a laugh if you have nothing to do then pop along. Don’t bet on the tote unless packed as the returns are no good. Bookmakers give you some sort of decent returns if you bet win only.cheap to get in and free parking

An amazing little gem of a theatre. We saw the wonderful play ' Enough', which was stunning, but Winnie the Pooh, and The Railway children attended by family members, received rave reviews from them. A small, victorian theatre.... maybe in need of a cash injection...but friendly. comfy and a home for amazingly talented actors.

Currently showing the Redrawing Harlow exhibition of evocative charcoal drawings of the town by Jordan Cook. Small gallery space on the 1st floor of the Civic centre, the permanent collection contains some gems. Free entry :)

Family friendly, 'spit and sawdust' old-school sports/social club. Some great summertime afternoon entertainment suitable for all the family as well as evening bands aimed more at adults. Drinks and food prices are reasonable and staff are very friendly. Good to hire for private parties too!

Even if you are not a gardener, go for lunch!!
What a gem of a find.
Relaxed, tastefully decorated and great food.
Something with a little twist on the dishes, beautifully presented, well done Max and Sophie in the kitchen!
Lovely outside area to eat as well.
