The highlight of Vienna. A fantastic palace with beautiful gardens. Its an absolutely must-see for any visit to Vienna.

Give yourself plenty of time because you visit can take a long time - especially if you take in the gardens too.

A very beautiful place. That is Salzburg. Many squares and churches. Pretty parks and friendly people. Just stroll around the city. We went up with the Festungsbahn and on top of the hill you will be rewarded with a magnificent view over the city and beyond. A day's visit is not enough we will return.

Very good tour of the castle with excellent views of Salzburg and the mountains around. There is a panoramic restaurant and terrace.

You get to the castle via a funicular railway that starts near the Cathedral.

This is a must do for all tourists visiting Innsbruck. The funicular and gondola ride going up is absolutely spectacular. The view from the top is just breathtaking. The cheapest way to experience this attraction is by using Innsbruck City Card as this would cover the fees going up. Luckily, the weather was perfect when we were there. I suggest that before taking this attraction, you must check the weather forecast as cloudy weather may cause zero visibility from the top and would ruin your experience.

I can't say how beautiful is the Kunst in a short review. The building is a work of art, much prettier than anything you will see at the Schonbrunn Palace. The cafe will enchant you and you won't stop taking pictures. The Kunst has painting by Caravaggio, Van Dyck, Velazquez, Canaletto, Brueghel, the elder, etc. The museum costs 18 or 19 euros. It is a must-see world class museum. When you're there, look up. The ceilings are beautiful.

The city center of Vienna is a center with a lot of beautiful building, one even more beautiful than the other. It is not the most cozy place.

Great night-time views over Graz. If you have a 24 hour public transport ticket then the funicular is included for free.

We rode uphill from the Hauptplatz, a roundtrip on bahn 50. We bought our tickets from the machine at the Hauptplatz. We rode up late morning. It was not super busy. It was a fun, and scenic trip. At the station at the top, we got off and walked around the area. So pretty. I am not sure when we made the trip back down, but we got to see a bunch of school kids get on the bahn, then get off at stops along the way. It was cute. We had a very nice time riding the bahn, and would certainly do it again.

The viewpoint can be reached either on foot, after a significant hike, or by a funicular railway that runs from the town of Hallstatt. The funicular costs 20 euro for a two way journey. It is also close to a historically significant salt mine. The views are truly spectacular from here, however the viewpoint itself is so popular that there are often queues to take photos.

Great shopping plaza, need full day to be reserved, but it worth to spend time. Wide choice of world-known brands by reasonable prices. Not every shop has offer just for you, but at the end of day shopping bag became solid. The negative is that food curt is not at all such rich as a shopping brand, problematically to get not fast food with normal service and normal prices.

Untersberg is a mountain about 30 mins south of Salzburg. There's a cable car to the top where you can walk and enjoy spectacular scenery. There's a restaurant and a cafe at the top too.
    Well worth it - a must-see.

    So... the practical things.
Get a Salzburg Card. The cost of the card is almost recovered by the cost of this trip on its own. You catch the number 25 bus from central Salzburg by the Mirabel Gardens and its takes you to the cable car station - about 30 mins ride. Then you get the cable car to the top.
The bus and the cable car is all covered by the Salzburg Card. So really easy.

Wear hiking gear. When you get to the top, unless you stay right by the cable car station all the walks involve a certain degree of hiking, some of it up and down rocky paths - so not the best if you're not mobile. There is very little exploration possible at the top if you're not mobile and fit.

There are longer mountainous hikes for people who are more adventurous.

Its fantastic though. Well worth it.

Great views and lots of walking to undertake.
Slightly expensive without the Summer Card, but 10% reduction in being a visitor.
Several ways of getting to the top: CBle Car, Gondolas or walk (if you want to).
Can't believe the amazing vies 360 degrees from the top.
Once at the top you have a choice of ways in getting down - either same way you can up, but certainly recommend walking down the various marked footpaths. As walking through the forests there are more amazing views around each corner

You don't have to hike the mountain to enjoy fantastic views of the mountains and valleys around Villach. The alpine road, known as the Villach Alpinstrasse winds it's way westaerds up to the Dorbratsch mountain. Turn onto it from the Villah Strasse at the Alpine sports park and enjoy the twisting turns as you gain height. Along the way, there are numers small car parks and viewing points that offer spectacular views over the vallys ot the south and one to the north east. Along the way and at the end, there are several places to eat. Perhaps the one thing that makes this such an accessable attraction, is that you can catch a regular service public transport bus up and down the mountian! Another option for the adventurous, is to hike it.
Well worth the journey for the views in all seasons.
