- tomasz K1 contributionHighly recommended. We took our tour 30.11.2024. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and explained everything about volcanos, lava flows and everything in between. To my surprise, he took us fairly close to the erupting volcano (safe distance obviously) but close enough where we could smell and see the boiling lava inside of the erupting volcano, and the lava flow. It was amazing. I am really glad we booked this tour and would do it again in a heartbeat.
From the parking lot we hiked about 1.5 hours to the site and 1.5 back. - RenniemoHalesowen, UK46 contributionsWe booked a trip with HappyWorld Iceland on Thursday 10th October. I was reluctant to go with this group as for a family of 4 it was quite expensive. Let me tell you it was truly value for money. We were promptly picked up from the hotel and met another group at the Perlan Natural History museum, where we saw the faintest of lights. We then travelled in convoy to 'the middle of nowhere' and stood in a field in the pitch black near to a disused, derelict building. The guides informed us there was activity in the sky and we should wait. Within 20 minutes, the night came alive. What a wonderful experience. The guides were knowledgeable, took many fantastic photos of the group, and were patient. Trust in them. They know what they're doing. Dress warm, it was really cold, some of the group returned to the vehicles earlier but we stayed out and took the opportunity to have many family photos taken. - Sarah A2 contributionsWe took the Diamond Beach tour with Iceland Paradise and it was an unforgettable journey. Our tour guide, Sultan, was absolutely fantastic! The drive was scenic, with Sultan sharing facts about Iceland’s landscapes, history, and culture. we visited the Diamond Beach. The contrast of the sparkling ice against the black sand was mesmerizing. Sultan made sure everyone got the perfect photo and even pointed out the best spots to capture the beauty of the beach.

The whole day is fast paced and those 10 hours go FAST! The snowmobile ride was definitely the highlight, as well as our excitement when we saw our ride (the super jeep!). Felt super safe at all times despite the roads being super snowy. 10000% a must do for anyone in Iceland. - John C.London6 contributionsExcellent trip with an excellent guide and first rate company. Aaron was our guide -- pickup at the bus stop 14 was early. Our guide introduced himself, and we were on our way. The vehicle was specially equipped for the rugged terrain of the glacier. The tour was informative, comfortable, and well paced. We were not able to see the geyser erupt the first time, so Aaron made it a point to stop on the way back to make sure we witnessed it. Further, Aaron gave great historical information about each place we were viewing - tectonic plates in the national park, the geyers, the greenhouses, the glacier, and Gullfoss waterfalls.
We took several tours when here in Iceland -- this one was the best quality. The snowmobiling kit provided was fantastic. We had snow for most of the day and Aaron was an excellent and skilled driver. The vehicle had enough room to be comfortable, and the pacing of the tour included well timed stops for lunch and bathroom breaks.

He told us a lot about history of volcanos, Iceland and stories. He brought us in very beautiful places to take photos and videos. He adapted our tour based on our experience and what we wanted to do (photo tour for us as an example). The weather was unreal with sideways rain and biblical winds but the clothing we were given kept us dry and warm throughout. You also get a lot of ride time, making it, in my opinion very good value for money. Damien is informative, engaging and excellent providing history and geo facts. My husband and I are 77 and 66 years young, respectively, and we had an absolute blast in the cave! Damien made us feel safe and we had great laughs! We also had water from a hot stream and Damien was our "chef" masterfully cooking eggs in the hot spring that were delicious!
