The trip was spectacular, we loved our tour guide/driver Walter. He was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable about everything Icelandic and a good sense of humor. We highly recommend this tour and you’ll never forget the experience.

The food was great as was our host “Joe Kool”. The information he provided on the history of Iceland was amazing even if he did wait until after we ate the shark before he told us the process of fermentation. I hope to one day return the favour and give him a tour of Alberta.

Slavie was a really funny guide and very personable. Enjoyed his stories about living in the country. He definitely added spice to the tour. So many pretty waterfalls. Make sure to wear warm clothes this time of year. Would recommend this tour.

Our guides were Bjarni & Ásgeir and we had an amazing time! We were picked up by shuttle next to our hotel and taken out far enough to escape the light pollution for best views. We were there on August 22nd and were fully aware it is hit or miss to see the Northern Lights at this time as it was somewhat early in the year. We had the best time - we were given blankets to keep us warm along with yummy hot cocoa and cinnamon rolls. Both Bjarni and Asgeir guided us to the area where the camera was set up and showed us what to look for as we searched the skies. It did not take long and they showed us where the Northern Lights were beginning to appear. They made sure everyone in our tour group had ample opportunity for one or two photos with the Northern Lights in the background. It was spectacular! We know what photo we will be using for our Christmas cards this year. It was the experience of a lifetime! Hopefully we will be able to return one day. Dawn

The trip was excellently organised. The ship is quite big and the sailing was very smooth. There are free overall for everyone - they are very comfortable, easy to wear and really kept us warm.
We saw a couple of dolphins that were jumping and very close by.
Unfortunately, we only sw the fin of a minke whale, but not the whole.one...
It was very nice of Elding guide who shared the professional photos of the trip afterwards via email.
    We definitely recommend this experience.

There were 5 of us kids/adults and we had a great time with Stephan I.! Walked all over town with him and he told us lore, history, and interesting things about daily life in Iceland. We were given multiple photo ops but really it was fun just chatting. He tailored the tour a touch based on our interests and made it really fun telling old stories with humor. Highly recommend this walk thru town even if it's not your first time in Iceland.

We were two aging couples [(80 & 72, 71 &69] cruising and we booked this tour through Viator. We had a delightful guide/driver and ended up being only 6 people in the van. We covered 4 'prime' tourist spots: The park with the two tectonic plates, Gullfoss falls, an extinct volcano and a geyser field. We got sufficient time at each stop. We were lucky with the weather, we got sunny breaks at every stop and a few showers while in transit between them. The temperature was as expected 13°-17°C so a light jacket/windbreaker was needed, even though it was not zipped up.
All of the spots were very tourist friendly with walking paths and washrooms not too far.
We put 17,000 steps on my wife's Fitbit on that day.
The park with the tectonic plates was a downhill wooden path with interesting plaques and views all around, we walked essentially between the plates to a meeting point at the bottom. The slope is gentle and easy to walk and enjoy! A great first stop!
Then we went to Gullfoss falls, a beautiful falls! We took lots of pictures of the falls and river. There were more people here, but still not what we would consider crowded. We did not walk to the closets points as there was a lot of mist in the air and we got our fill of great views from the elevated portions of the paved path.
The we went to the extinct volcano and 2 of us walked all around the caldera. From the top we had fantastic landscapes to admire. The walk up and around the caldera is not paved and you have a few climbs and a lot of uneven surfaces to walk, but we have done far worse many times.
Then we went to geyser field, which is quite tourist friendly with paths to walk on around and in between the geysers which some erupt every 6-10 minutes. We also had a lite lunch here fish & chips Icelandic style where the breading is a light charcoal colour! Easily one of my top 5 fish and chips. With 2 baby beers + 2 f&c = 92$ CAD, not cheap, but we would order again!
At the beginning of the tour we also visited a spot where they bake bread in the ground (thermally heated) and we saw spots of boiling mud adjacent to a small lake. Our guided advised us NOT to test the water temperature as it could be scalding hot... 50 feet away a couple were canoeing in the lake.
We were away for a month through Amsterdam, a British Isles cruise, and an Iceland/Scotland cruise and this tour is easily top two experience of the trip [3 tours were outstanding so picking just one is too hard] We have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

Great tour, managing to hit multiple impressive attractions in just one day was perfect for someone with only a couple of days here. HBO was also a very fun and informative tour guide!

This trip provides a variety of activities and scenic locations to get a good overview of the region near Reykjavík. It was the perfect length of time running from 8am-3:30. The pick up point Bus Stop #6 was very convenient to the center of town near the Rainbow Road area.
Alex, our tour driver guide was very informative and provided us with many important historical details regarding the areas we visited including the history of Iceland.
So much more information than if you self drive the area. Sit back, relax snd enjoy the ride between several nice short hikes at the parks and waterfalls.
Not only was Alex informative but he went out of his way to see that everyone’s needs were met. He even went out of his way to return items that we left behind on the bus after our tour after being dropped off. Thank you Alex!

An amazing night. Thomas and Siggi have incredible knowledge and it was so interesting listening to Thomas telling us all about the Northern Lights. Only 2 mini buses so we didn't feel in a big crowd.
They knew where to chase the lights and we finally had a brilliant experience seeing them. I would totally recommend Iceland Everywhere and if we had been staying longer would have booked another trip with them.

    What an outstanding day!
Do this trip! I’m so glad I did.

I can’t even begin to express how much we enjoyed our day. Our guide Perla and driver Peter were amazing and genuinely kind and helpful!

We were so fortunate to have phenomenal weather, but the care the guide took to be sure we enjoyed ourselves was top notch!

We saw some amazing sights and learned so much about Iceland.

On the way back to town, our guide Perla sang us an Islander lullaby and it was so beautiful and a perfect way to end a perfect day!

Thank you for the experience. This organization is first class!
