- Sanna2888Oulu, Finland81 contributionsI loved our visit to the Moomin museum! I especially enjoyed Tuulikki Pietilä's miniature art based on Tove Jansson's stories. They were truly beautifully detailed. Our 4-year-old daughter was slightly frightened by some parts of the museum because the lighting is very dark. Our favourite bits were the miniatures and the giant version of The Book about Moomin, Mymble and Little My. - RockhillsFinland130 contributionsLots to see in a old factory building. The layout of the exhibitions is bit confusing. As a wheelchair person I really appreciated that the guide took the time to help me navigate through several levels and elevators to Manserock.
Note that the museum shop is not fully accesible. Some exhibitions are tight and larger wheelchairs will struggle. The cafe looked nice but too crowded for wheelchair. Handicapped parking is by the main entrance.
