Great place to visit, brings back memories from my childhood when watching the program on TV, all the old books are in there and all the prop’s from the making of the programme definitely worth a visit

The view is quite breathtaking at the top. You get a free cup of coffee with your ticket. The lift itself had some lighting and music

One of the best theme parks in Finland! There are good amount of rides for children (100m and above in height) with good options for adults too and many options to eat with. We did not have time to visit the aquarium and the petting zoo but heard they are good too.
Would suggest that you take the unlimited ride pass

This block of wooden buildings showcases the working-class lifestyle and history. The museum area is a typical enclosed quarter of the 1880s including 32 apartments, which illustrate the life of local industrial workers from 1880 to 1970.

The museum is open only during the summer. There are a lot of stairs to climb.

Had a wonderful lunch at Viikinsaari. Amazing service and wonderful dishes from local providers. It is very easy to get to the island from Laukontori Port on Silver Line vessels. Best of the trip is to reserve enough time to enjoy a lunch or dinner on the island. Truly value for money.

The Finlayson Area is a fantastic area close to water.
It was build by a Scottsman as a Cotton Mill and to day this big area is full off different life, Museums, dining place, theater, shops and offices and lots of things to do.
Go there and see the history of Tampere.

The building seen from above resembles a big male capercaillie in his pride so the library is known in Finnish as Metso. Architect couple Raili and Reima Pietiläs' design from 1986 has assymetrical lines and unexpected nooks both inside and out. The fame of Metso earned them the priviledge to create in 1993 Mäntyniemi in Helsinki, the formal residence of our president.

This park is located next to the Tampere Hall, five minutes walk from the railway station.

In the middle of the park is a big pond with a fountain. You can find ducks swimming here.

There are also many other species of birds living in the cages by the pond.
