This Evangelist-Lutheran church built in Gothic Revival style is located in the Finlayson industrial area. It was built in 1879 as the church of the Finlayson cotton factory, where the factory workers could practice religion.
The church has also served as the “Children’s Cathedral” since 1996. Because of its central location, small size, and pleasant architecture, the church is one of the most popular wedding churches in Tampere.
On our visit, the church was closed. So we couldn't see the interior.
