Shops , shopping centres , supermarkets, cafes and kiosks are lined up on both the sides and there are seating areas or benches at many places.Tampere Train Station is located at one end.The Bus station also located on it. The ambience is lively and it's a pleasure to stroll through. Somewhere along its length it goes over the rapid - Tammerkoski and there's a beautiful green area called Koskipuisto on the side. They have a special, 12 for 12 euros and for more than 12, 1 euro each. Too good a deal to pass up! I like fruity chocs and was easily able to find 12 that I wanted to try. Be sure to ask for a recipe if needed and I do recommend the Villa san Donnino balsamico. You can again find a nice selection of not only finnish literature but also swedish and english literature.
