This museum is the first Lenin museum that was founded outside of the Soviet Union and also simultaneously the last to remain to this day. It is located in the very same building where Lenin and Stalin first met each other, so it is quite a historical building on its own.
The architecture of the building is interesting to look at and the museum is easy to locate within, the museum itself consist only of one large room. As you’d expect it focuses on Lenin’s life as well the Soviet Union in general, with a lot of talk about Stalin on the side.
The displays are decent and offered in three languages – Finnish, Russian and English. There’s also a photo opportunity with dummies of Lenin and Stalin, you can even dress up for it. Decent museum, would recommend for those interest in history or if you just happen to be in the area.
