By contrary, the Swedish people knew about it and were accommodated correctly for lunch. - Gabor B8 contributionsWe met at the tour agency's office, which was easy to get to. Helped Daniel pack into the van, then he drove us to the kayaking site. It took roughly 40 minutes to get there. At the kayaking site we learned how to use the kayaks, the paddles, what to do in case we capsize, etc... We all had waterproof pouches for any small belonging, like phones. I brought one of those transparent waterproof holsters for my phone so I could take photos. Worked pretty well. The kayaks each had a separate waterproof compartment for our backpacks.
After everyone preparing their own kayaks and donning our gear, we set out for some paddling. It takes a bit of learning how to navigate but it's a lot of fun. I wish I dressed a bit warmer (it was September) but it wasn't too bad. On a sunny day it would've been warmer, but we cought rain. After 1.5 hrs of paddling we reached our lunch spot, a charming wooded island in the beautiful archipelago. There - while our little group explored the island and took plenty of insta-content - Daniel cooked our meal. Basically hotdogs with plenty of toppings as well as tea and coffee. It tasted great after all the hard work. I particularly liked the vegan and gluten free options (these have to be requested when you buy the ticket). Then we headed back, on a slightly different route, stopped here and there, frolicked around in the water, as we were all more confident with the paddles now. Back at the kayaking site, we all washed our own kayaks and stowed away the equipment. This makes sense as we also got clean equipment ourselves. Then Daniel drove us back.

It's nice to see a lot of different parts around Stockholm and take note of things you want to go back to. - Marco1 contributionIt was an entertaining and exciting way to visit the archipelago. Due to light winds in the morning we had to motor out to our destination, where we dropped the anchor and enjoyed lunch and a swim. In the afternoon the winds picked up, and we were able to sail properly. Everyone on the boat had their own share of time at the helm. We went in November at a time where the foliage in the islands have turned to their autumn colours. The clouds are gray and heavy, winds cold and we had continuous drizzling. The setting seemed like an adventure movie as our guide sped through the canals twisting and turning and riding incoming waves lifting us off our seats. The tour was quite informative and we enjoyed seeing Stockholm from the water. - hasib5 contributionsWe recently took a winter kayak tour in Stockholm and were pleasantly surprised by the weather - it was surprisingly good! Our tour guide, Patrick, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, friendly and made the tour a lot of fun. The highlight of the tour was the delicious Finnish-recipe lentil soup we had for lunch, it was truly tasteful. But the real excitement came when we spotted a rare sea lion and a sea eagle - it was a moment we will never forget. We highly recommend this tour, especially with Patrick as your guide. A scenic route was suggested by Jacob and Adam, who helped us prepare as best as we can, as well as giving us many tips and advice. The Stockholm Archipeligo is one of the most beautiful places in the world to kayak, elevating the experience to the highest level.
