Very good area with colourful houses and many restaurants. Unique experience next to the canal. A must-see when you visit Copenhagen.

Really interesting place to understand the history of Denmark throughout the ages. Collections are really varied from the inside of churches and danish rooms, to dolls houses and toys though the ages. There’s even an area for kids to play in including a pirate ship and imaginary play. Well worth a visit

Beautiful church. Ideal for a quick visit.
Unfortunately could not visit the top of the dome as nobody was there to tend to tourists.
But well worth a visit as the biggest dome in Scandinavia.

The Little Mermaid is one of those iconic statues across the world that you just have to see when visiting certain cities. As a tour guide referenced to us, ‘it is spectacularly underwhelming!’

That being said I wouldn’t have missed it, we got some great photos and I have seen something with my own eyes that until now I’ve only seen in photos.

If in Copenhagen, it’s a must but it won’t take up much of your day.

This is an almost 2km stretch starting from Nyhavn and ending at the main plaza, or is it the Tivoli gardens amusement park. In this walk you could pass by restaurants of international choices , shops from local designer to the extreme luxury, and even fountains, churches etc. Even with a long stretch you could hardly notice that tiring experience since everything seems to be a feast for the senses.

My son and I (Americans) visited the Jelling Mounds and Runic Stones in Denmark with some family friends. It was absolutely delightful and far more interactive than we'd anticipated! Nestled in the Danish countryside, this UNESCO World Heritage site offers an engaging peek into the rich history and culture of the Viking Age.

The mounds themselves are steeped in centuries of legend and lore. The runic stones are carved with intricate designs and ancient inscriptions, powerful reminders of Denmark's heritage and identity.

Our visit to the Jelling Mounds and Runic Stones was an interesting and memorable journey through Denmark's past.

especially liked the spray from nose. See it at same time as the mermaid (bigger and better than) and citadel.

You can see the lighthouse from a (far) distance, growing as you have a nice walk. The dunes appear and grow higher. Great walk, read what happened with the lighthouse, you can climb to the top and see the surroundings.

Impressive city hall building on the side of a large paved square. Interesting architecture and a few towers around. Busy square with traffic and shops and cafes all nearby.

We caught the 6A bus from near Torvhallen to Bispepberg Torv on a Sunday morning. The church is very close to the bus stop. Before visiting the church we explored the Bispepberg cemetery, which is really the Grindtvigs Churchyard. The magnificence of the church is framed by the poplars of the cemetery’s central Avenue. The autumn landscape of the immaculately planned and managed cemetery was breathtaking. After spending some time there we headed back to the church. The interior was as inspiring and beautiful as expected. I’ve not been in a building with such soaring elegance. We had arrived at the end of a christening and chatted with parishioners, which enhances our appreciation of the place. This was a highlight of my visit to Copenhagen.

It is beautiful both inside and outside. It is close to main tourist attractions, such as the City Hall, Planetarium and Tivoli Gardens. There are many shops inside. Passengers would not be bored.
