Obidos is a beautiful place, cobbled streets, within the castle walls, with Cafes and restaurants. And Artisan shops. With Plenty of parking in the area.

Paddle boarding on Óbidos Lagoon is a great change of pace from the sometimes crowded Óbidos walled city. We rented from the Escola de Velha (sailing school), which also serves very casual lunches in their garden by the water.

Don't forget to look up while walking through the front gate to see the beautiful tiles. There were musicians playing too.

The inside of this church is quite beautiful. You can walk in for free and it just takes a few minutes.

Wonderful Medieval market with local cuisine. Must try queijadas (Portuguese tarts with different variations of flavours: carrot/Almond/milk)
    Amazing food and entertainment.
Great event for kids and grown-ups.
