Be prepared for lots of steep steps and uneven hills (wear comfortable shoes) and being that you’re basically walking around cliffs, be mindful of children and edges!
It was our 4 family members (only us!) and he was knowledgeable, thoughtful and it was local!

This purpose built boardwalk is great for a safe walk along the cliff tops allowing young families and wheelchairs to access great views of the cliff tops and see diverse flowers and wildlife.
It makes the whole area accessible to those with mobility issues and small children, has access to Algar Secco and great cliff views and sunsets, very nice!

... the middle of san dunes, must see as it is difficult to explain, beautiful scenic views, great for surfing - rentals possible, life guards, chairs and umbrellas rentals, small snack bar, the sea is good for kids.
It also has a small river running into the sea at one side - good for kids and families.

... beach ( as are all of the beaches in the local area ) but you can use a land side beach with out having to use the ferry which can be a bit of a bonus for people with young children and all that come with them
